Honest review of kalimpong college

1. I was always interested in political science and wanted to take this up for higher education. 2. I could get the proper knowledge required because of the syllabus. 3. The teachers should become more serious and gain proper teaching methods. 4. The timing of exams were appropriate.

B.A courses 5,800 yearly. Registration fees is 2000. Lab fees 1800 in the general category. B.A hons courses 6,500 yearly and the registration fees and lab fees are 2000, 1800 respectively. No scholarship or financial aid is given as far as I know

The events were hardly shared with us. We were not given freshers are farewell event. As far as I know we only got to celebrate teachers day that too non of our department got the notice so we just stayed home. The sports and extracurricular activities were none . The student union group was there but notvery helpful.

I didn't apply for other colleges as it was COVID time and it was best for me to join this college as I am from kalimpong itself. But I wish I applied for different college as I believe that I would gain more knowledge and experience if it was from other college.

In my department the teachers were not good and we hardly got to experience communication with them. The geography department teachers were good as they were interactive with their students. I got this information as my friend was taking geography. The office faculties staff were very rude and not very helpful. There are 6 semester exams. We wouldn't get much marks as expected.
