Likes

The environment is good to study pleasant nature, best location for education hub.
Well faculties like library, indoor stadium and outdoor ground for sports.
Quality of education is atmost good. Value for money. With experienced and well knowledgeable professors.

Dislikes

Hostels are hygiene but the infrastructure are old.
Government transportation are very less heading towards university
When comparison ration between boys and girls boys are less in number also depending upon departments.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course design is quite impressive most of the syllabus is made with suggestion of resources person having knowledge in various fields. The internals time interval depends on every individual department. Final exams are fixed by university examination board.

Fees and Financial Aid

yearly fee for pg course is 9020rs as per merit quota and for reservations quota there will be consitions for SC and ST students. Students can apply all govt based scholarships. Fee structure may varies from 2024-24 PG admissions

Campus Life

The overall experience on campus life just desirable with pollution free, eco friendly, greener and clean campus. Usually cultural and sports activities are more frequently done in every months in the campus. The clubs and social activities are well encouraged.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel has well facilities with 24*7 hot water. Only university student are eligible to take admission in the hostels. Meal quality is quite appreciable and has dividing system. The hostels are inside the campus area Hostels available for both for boys and girls.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

Admission

The university is well known for its education and its traditions. The university with wide varieties of flora and fauna in its campus. It located in bhadra wild protected area. The fee structure is also appreciate while compared to other universities. The admission is taken by counciling after application submission.

Faculty

faculties are experienced well trained and have efficient knowledge. The course is semester based The course us about 4 sem (2 years). Traditional type of exam with paper and pen. faculty to student relationship is excellent and approachable at any time.

excellent in acedimics

Course Curriculum Overview:

1.I was very much intrested to be a scientist when i choose biochemistry because its one of excellent bioscience subject to pursue the carrier as good scientist and complete the phd in bio science field 2.I would say for further acedmic carriculum like to pursue phd and to complete bioscience related competative examination will be clear by just following acedimics but am not saying it will prepare for you to a real world . 3.teaching methods is excellent as i mentioned earlier but problem is they only stick to acedmics apart from that they didnt prepare for real world problem job getting moto that is problem 4.exams level of difficulty is mediatory not high or not low as of my knowledge but other say it very difficult exams nobody able to score more than 70%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food and nutrition articles in newspaper made me to take this course. As it had full scope in that time. Actually curriculum is very poor in preparing us for real world application. Practical session must include more of industrial visits and projects related to industry. We had enough time to study .

My Experience: The good and the Bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Our college provide very fantastic placements , in every year they invited two or three companies in our college to get placements us.In last semester the students are eligible for for campus placements.Shilpa biological industry, biocon industry both company are offered the placement in last year. they told they provide highest packages 800000 rupees per year and averages 400000 per year . In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

The curriculum is fairly distributed among the 2 years. The first year broadly covers the course work, and learning of the laboratory techniques. Followed by a mini project and a major project under a professor of interest. Stem cell biology always intrigued me and this course offered exactly what I want. The curriculum focuses on training students very rigorously to make them fit for harsh conditions and situations in the real research world.

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Kuvempu university is famous for his unique nature of learning the student... There we see the quality of education they provide with resource full highly educated professor... That's why I applied for this college.... I don't apply for any other colleges because if I want to study my msc that is in this university only.. There is online application process every year for student who want to pursue their master in KU.
