Course Curriculum Overview

2

They seem so outdated and the software they use for teaching programming seems ancient, I'm studying B.Tech computer science engineering which fast growing and frequently updating course so people expect to up to date but it's not...

Internships Opportunities

2

As i previously mentioned I'm currently at my 2nd year so i'm not fully aware of the internships and projects. So i don't think I have the right qualification To say anything regarding this topic, but there will be some internships programs offered through the class's WhatsApp group but all of them will be like a paid internship here paid in the sense you have to pay for the internship these are directly from the companies itself...but I think there is something sinister going behind these so called internships Because why you have to pay for the internships and why there is no companies offering free internships. Many of the students thinks that these companies give a share of the money they get from the students to the college and keep the rest so it's a win-win for both, the college and these companies but again students are the sore losers but its just a theory so take it with a grain of salt....

Placement Experience

3.5

Students eligible for campus placements from their 7th and 8th semester of education. Top Recruiters: Amazon, Adobe, Deloitte, KPMG, Wipro, Microsoft, Accenture, EY, PwC Placement stats Internships offered-856 Companies visited-256 Jobs offered - 1835 Placement percentage - 94% (atleast thata what they are saying since I'm at my 2nd year still I don't the actual percentage) Highest package - 27L Average package - 4.5L My plan is to do the masters in the same degree if I am finically supported or else opt for a job and later try for the masters in a different college, OFCOURSE.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no any form of stipends provided but there are on campus interviews though, which will be rolled out on your final year. Cost of education differ for each course and specialization for me (B.Tech CSE with AI IBM) which cost me around 2L per year but you can actually get this exact same course cheaper if you apply for it very early as the times goes on they keep on increasing the fee, this 2L is not just for the tution fee but the total cost for an year. And they also ask 500rs per subject as an exam fees near the semester exams those are the compulsory charges. Merit Scholarship Program : Basically if you achieved 95% or more in PCM you'll get 100% scholarship If you achieved 90%-94% in PCM you'll get 90% scholarship And this pattern goes in till 70% in PCM As per affordability it is pretty cheap compared to other colleges and there are no donation fees too. But does that make it worth ? NO!

Campus Life

1

There are literally no festivals or culurals or any events and NO I'm not making this up, LEGIT there isn't any events or festivals conducted throughout the year. So what even happens in your orientation some might ask...you go to your classes which will be mentioned in a WhatsApp group and you'll sit there and wait for all of your classmates to come, a random faculty comes...tells you about the college and other crap that too only if they are interested to share with you. And you'll leave the college at 12:30 at noon, from next day you'll be having a bridge course which lasts for a month before the actual classes starts, that's it. The library has quite a collection of books you may find the book you need. There are technological provisions provided to any of the classes and the facilities may include drinking water which will be in every floor but it is barely drinkable Groups are there but only few activities are conducted. No extracurricular activities other than NCC.

Admission

Eligibility: Not much, You just should have completed your schooling from a recognised board. They also conduct an entrance exam of their own if you want you can give it a try, if you score good in that you may get a scholarship. But it is not compulsory since you can literally walk in and apply and get admissioned within a day if you have all the necessary documents and money... The application form (free) be will provided by the college management, the addmission dates and time can be found in their website. Exams: You would be writing three exams per semester before the actual semester exam so total 4 if you include the semester exam. All of the are pretty simple and straightforward and most of the question will be discussed before the exam and if you want to be fully prepared just go through the previous year papers and you'll be fine And for the semester exam it would fuck you up if you are not focused and unprepared, try solving previous year papers.

Faculty

1.5

The college is so much saturated with students so much so that there isn't even enough teachers/faculties for the college, this also the reason why the college as such dumb/non qualified teachers because they are not recruiting faculties based on their knowledge and skills but rather to fill in the seats, like one of our faculty was a fresher who just finished his master's degree on cloud computing but they assigned him for a totally different subject he doesnt even know the basics of! This was told by that guy himself, he comes to the class doesn't know what to do, so pulls a pdf that is given by the management and reads couple of lines for 10 mins and the rest 40 minutes he will be chatting with not because he is chill but because he doesn't know any now imagine 90% of faculties being like this , so what will he do during monthly/ semester exam he will literally tell us the questions that has been assigned so that he doesnt have to deal with "students not getting good marks" problem

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.
