Likes

College's infrastructure is great. Comfortable for all the students. Washrooms are also clean, classroom are big. There are y floors in total
Canteen is great with lots of varieties. Library is also great and big. One can sit quietly and read or do any projects or assignments peacefully
There are lots of additional course like singing, dancing and many more. Their is sports arena too. if anyone wants to boost their mood so they can go there and enjoy.

Dislikes

Teaching can be improve. Like teachers are good but they only do 1-2 sums and then they complete their chapter. like if you have any doubts they clear it

Course Curriculum Overview

Overall curriculum is great. They prepare us for real world applications but it can be improved more. The timing of exams is also good. Per semester we have to give 3 exams. Like 2 internals and 1 main exam.

Internships Opportunities

They college provide with different internship through college groups. The companies like TCS, Wipro and Cognizant come to our campus with job offers to the students. The students opting for the Placement Drive which happens in our college got internships from companies like Erudite, Express Publications, Abira Securities Ltd., MyPlexus. In Bhawanipur college for B.Con Hons, placements are not that good, and very fewer companies are coming for hiring candidates.

Fees and Financial Aid

So I took bcom hons course and for that I'd pay 1.43 lakh in total. So which means 47500 per year. Everything was included in that. If I wanted to some additional course so for that they charge 1000 and after successfully passing the course they refund 1000 to us. For gujrati students they charge less fees than other state students

Campus Life

They celebrate all the festival. Republic day, independence day, sarswati puja, Holi, etc etc All the books are available in the library and they lend the book to students for 28 days The labs are great and easy to access They engage students with a lot of sports

Admission

I haven't applied for any other college apart from amity. Which is very far from my house and they reviews of that college is not so good as compared to bhawanipur education society college. Actually I studied in the bhawanipur gujrati education society school and I find that building and area very safe so I decided to go for this college If I honestly speak.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is good. Each and everyone is supportive. The bhawanipur education society college is under Calcutta University. So they only take internals of their own and other exams CU take. Marking system is so so.

Other Applied Colleges

Amity University | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.}

Because they were charging more and their infrastructure is also not that great and environment of that college is not suitable for me

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

The besc life

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
