Course Curriculum Overview

The courses that are being offered are of lastest updation to the ever evolving market trends. In each trimester, roughly you will be having around 6-7 courses. Irrespective of your domain you'll be learning about other domains also that are involved in order to run a smooth business.

Internships Opportunities

In 2023 alone, 120+ companies visited our campus for internship process only including the big companies like Deloitte, Asian Paints etc to newly funded start-ups giving you a whole mix range of experience and learning opportunities.

Placement Experience

Every year 100% of students gets placed who are eligible. Placement drive runs roughly for 1.5-2 months. Average package is around 12.5LPA highest being 18-20 LPA. Almost from every domain and sector, companies visits our campus for placements.

Campus Life

Although the facilities and services provided on campus are very large. They have one of the finest library with over 6000+ books and 40+ weekly journals. Plus 14 terminals of Bloomberg Lab. Which are more than enough to give you an enriching experience of MBA graduate. The campus somewhat lacks in sports facilities.

Hostel Facilities

HOSTEL accommodation is quite good. Fair enough facilities. Twin sharing rooms are available. They have 5 hostels operating in different sectors (yes, hostels are not in the campus area) 3 for boys and 2 for girls.

Admission

The alumni base of LAL BHADUR SHASTRI INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT is very big over 6500+. Helping you to build a network with them and to learn and grow. The companies visiting the institute for final placement are of tier1.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is quite low. Still the level of faculty is very high. All of the faculty members are into research papers publication, possess a vast and holistic knowledge of their domain respectively.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

LBSIM: Life Changing Experience for me.

I was offered admission by Fore, Delhi, NMIMS Bangalore, Hyderabad, GLIM Gurgaon but I talked to people of different colleges on Linkedin. I found that LBSIM people were good at interactions and overall location, curriculum suited me the most. The admission process had a GD followed by PI. I was selected through CAT but selection through XAT is also availble. Cut off ranges from 72 percentile for RBA to 84 percentile for General. I had wailist at Fore, which got clear after the first round but the response of LBSIM's RBA was better than Fore's BDA...Read More
