About college

The college management is a favor to students. Every month the student council meeting and class committee meeting is held for students.

The college offers 1) Civil engineering, 2) Mechanical engineering, 3) Electronics and communication engineering, 4) Electrical and electronics engineering, 5) Instrumentation and control engineering, 6) Computer science engineering, 7) Information Technology. There are 2 internal exams and model exams for a semester. All exams are Knowledge-based. So preparation for all exams is more important.

The placement in our college is excellent. In the previous year 97 percent of our students placed in top companies. Top companies like Amazon, Zoho, Hcl, Infosys visit our college. The highest package offered by Amazon is 28 lacks per annum. The Internships are also provided by the college.

The college conducts various events. Avanta Technical symposium is conducted every year. Many workshops are conducted in our college. The students take part in various events conducted by the college. Innovate, Knockia is a symposium conducted in our college. Many seminars are conducted during the events.

The fees are somewhat high compared to other engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. The tuition fee is 120000 per year for Electronics and communication engineering. Other departments also include the same fee structure. The hostel fee is 80000 per year. The other expenses cost nearly 20000 per year. The sem fees cost nearly 3000 per sem.

The college offers a scholarship for students who are availed in government quota. The scholarship is not available for management quota. Loan facility is also available in our college. The bonafide should be submitted with proper documents in the bank to get a loan.

The campus life is good and enjoyable. The campus is green and climate is chill. Both boys and girls are on the same ratio. The lab facilities are good. It contains all instruments which help students to develop practical knowledge. The college gives more importance to sports. Various competitions are conducted during college events.

The hostel fees are about 80000 per year. The hostel is very neat and clean. Every room is shared by four members. The rooms are also clean. The food in the mess is very poor. Nonveg is not available. The food contains the only veg. The hostel contains gym facilities.

The seniors are helpful to juniors. They guide the juniors in a good way. They help their juniors to understand college academics and events. They are helpful in developing projects etc.

I got admission in this college through TNEA. I scored above 80 percent in the 12th. I applied for TNEA counseling and I choose this college. This college does not require an entrance exam for undergraduate courses. This college has 7 undergraduate courses. Management quota is also available.

All the faculties in our college are postgraduate. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. The faculties of our college are more friendly to us. They train the students in various methods. The students can contact all faculties at all times through WhatsApp or E-mail. We can also call them directly. They reply quickly to the messages.
