Likes
- College campus is very nice, it is one of the best campus in INDIA, you feel safe there and also lots of greenery available.
- Professors educational qualifications are very exceptional like I am doing bsc(hons) stats , amd my most of the teachers are IITs graduates.
- College campus amd hostels both are completely ragging free, means 100% no ragging I can guarantee.
Dislikes
- College doesn't do enough events or extracurricular activities
- Not enough interactions of students with their seniors , they are like studying all time.
Course Curriculum Overview
The placements of pur seniors who were doing Msc(Stats) were very great like as they got 8-16 lpa range placements and nearly 90%+ students got placed of the class . And also increasing scope pf data science in today's world made my mind to join this course.
Internships Opportunities
I have not till now done any internship as I have just got admiitted to 2nd year and finished my 1st year bsc(hons)stats bit I think some studnets got chance in 3rd semester for internships. So I have no idea about internships.
Placement Experience
I think placements for Bsc students are neglegible like as I think college doesn't provide any placements but for Msc mainly in stats, computer science and geology branches are superb and some other branches are also good.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees of Bsc(hons) maths from my college i.e Banaras Hindu University is nearly 3000? per year , and paid seat is also available which costs nearly 30000? additional per year . Nearly every course like as Ba, B. Com, and various branches of the given courses have similiar fee structure. You can fill any scholarship forms u know .
Campus Life
As I have told previously there are not enough activities and events occurs in my college but there are many clubs that makes arrangements and organize many events but they charge for every events like as 200-300? per events
Admission
I have applied for Delhi University also and also got ramanujan colllge but i rejected and opted Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi because of the great campus, ragging free campus and most important Varanasi is my my town too , so no confusion while choosing BHU
Faculty
I think faculty to student ratio is 40:1 ,there are lots of students studying in Bhu like as I think there are nearly 1-1.5k + students studying only bsc from vaious branches. I liked the statistics faculty the most as it is my hons subject and there teachers are also fantastic. The sem exams are very tough to pass if you haven't studied enough
