- Campus is really huge and clean . There are many colleges under calicut University that offer variety of courses.
- Calicut University hires highly professional teachers. Practical are taught efficiently so that it’s useful for our future.
Dislikes
- Calicut university campus is spread over a large space . Most of it is left unused. If proper buildings are built , it can be converted into a beautiful campus.
- Colleges under calicut university are spread among many districts of Kerala , but courses like BCA are there only in few colleges .
- Students from outside Kerala find it hard to study here as most of the teaching is done in Malayalam
Course Curriculum Overview
The previous year curriculum had mostly outdated topics. But the new one has bought in many needed technologies and topics which will definitely be useful for students during their master/placements / jobs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Till batch 2023-2026, It was 3 year degree with a semester fees of Rs 18750 . But after the first year, it's been said that fees might increase more than 20k per semester. Caution deposits might vary according to the college , some college might have Rs2000 , some might have Rs 3000 , which is returned while taking TC after the course. In the first semester , all fees including semester fees might cost you around Rs 50,000 , but that's only for the starting . Exam fees for each course varies , depending on number of exams and labs , all might come under Rs 200

Admission
I chose this college over the other colleges which I had applied to is because it was near to the place I stayed . But most of the colleges under calicut university has the same efficiency. Admission process for calicut university is very easy as colleges are allotted from websites.
Faculty
Calicut University provide almost all facilities needed for students in a very efficient manner. Computer faculty is the best as they provide the newest technologies to computer students. For 3 year degree , there are total of 6 semester exams For 4 year degree , there are total of 8 semester exams Most of the students find it easy to clear these exams Around 95% students pass all exams.
