- Our college campus is big and peaceful and a very good place for students who likes nature and want peace of mind, we also have all sorts of sports facilities including swimming pool and we have experience lecturers and college rich with culture
- We have many cultural activities, and we face no racism and our college provides good facilities and our college also does donation drives ,blood donation any many more and camps which helps students to understand themselves in a different way
- We have rich in culture which helps us understand the Indian culture in a better way , we don't face any kind of bullying and racism as our college authority take strick action against this type of activities and our college is also a no Tobacco
Dislikes
- Our college is far from the main Shillong and there is no big market near our college which is also a problem for the students as they have problem when they need
- No problem network as it is far from the main Shillong the students face problems in getting network and electricity issue is common in my college
- We don't have a college uniform ,and the grocery are expensive in college canteen
Course Curriculum Overview
The course here is very relevant as I'm a economic student , my course helps me to understand the economic circumstances of the country and help us to understand the history of the economic country and is beneficial for students who want to make their own business as it helps us understand the flow and working of money .
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college fees yearly for dayschoolars is 2600 per year and there has been a rise in college fees as for last two years it was 24000 for dayschoolars and we get our scholarship form umbrella scheme which we get 20800.
Campus Life
My overall all experience here in my college has been great the environment here is too good I really like this college as my college is surrounded by water and nature, we have many types of club for eg we care , nss , ncc etc . Our college has its own post office , ATM , DISPENSARY , library and many more . We have social group here as ever state have ther own union and we also have the students representative which represents the students . These social group has a great impact of the students life as it helps us to grow and helps us to understand and also helps in making you a better person
Admission
I really like nature and want to study somewhere near nature as I don't like to study in cities which was a great option for me so I chose this college. The admission process is quite easy doesn't take much time and there are cutoffs depending upon the seats and demands of the subject
Faculty
We have a proper faculty to students ratio as for every subject we have 4-5 and 2-3 substitute teacher depending upon the subject . We have 2 exam in a year which covers 2 semester ,and internal test the exam here are very tough the paper checking is also tough which makes scoring marks very difficult .
