Course Curriculum Overview
As I already mentioned, FoT is following new education policy (NEP) since last year from 2023.. That makes it more attractive. Curriculum is quite updated which makes students ready for the industry. There are 2 exams like Mid - Sems or END - sems .. or these arent much difficult.
Internships Opportunities
This is our 1st batch so on campus placement might come next year .. Basically we selfly working on our skillset in order to crack a really good internship..or in future a decent placement package.. So skills speaks lounder than degree..degree matters but what matters the most that's your skills ..anything you are good in..
Placement Experience
7th semester students are eligible for campus placements.My after plans are that going to pursue MBA from any recognized institution. So we can expect a idea about placement %age & placement package as DU is a central govt university and very strong alumni network
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee is around 2.24 lacs per year including hostels and development fund etc.But its going to increase by 10k to 20k every year after 2024.Registration fees is like ?1500 for GEN/OBC & ?1200 for SC/STs. But the institution is offering fee relaxation which needs some eligibility that's the annual income. Its in a way that if any candidates parental annual income falls below 4lacs or btw 4 to 8 lacs ..he/she can claim 90% or 50% respectively for concession. Fee concession is year wise ..so u must have to submit some original documents such as income certificate, ITR of 2 prev yrs, 26AS form etc. ITR is mandatory for the whole process.If anyone dont file ITR ..he have to make a NIL income ITR can easily be done by C.A.
Campus Life
Campus life is good ..socities & clubs are on their way of formation.. on campus there arent much sports facilities..Its own fest is going to be held in coming times. DU has a well- stocked Central science library so many books are available for Fot students.
Admission
I had applied to DTU , NSUT , some NITs also but there I was getting mechanical or Electrical branches. So I took admission here without any regret . DU is best know for its academic excellence & a very strong alumni network
Faculty
Faculty to student interaction is so easy..like the institution have provided a separate email id for college students & faculties too so they can mail them if they are stucked somewhere or they are responsive not just meant to showcase them. Facutly members are quite good , they're well experienced and the main thing which is cooperation that every student needs. But the best thing is curriculum is quite updated..as Facutly of Technology is following new education policy (NEP). Exams are like not much difficult if you have attended lectures properly & spent a time with the topics you might not get any problem in exam. But in engineering there's specific attendance criteria so here in FoT its 40% for every subject if u failed to get this targeted %age ..u might het detain (can't sit in exam for that specific subject)...
