Likes

the mess food is so nice and the given enough quantity
the campus is so green and has enough trees everywhere
the sports grounds are very big and well maintained

Dislikes

there are no proper gym facility for everyone,seniors have over advantage
restrooms and hostel maintenance is not so proper
language barrier is predominant at all places in the campus

i want circuital course and for my rank I can get only instrumentation and control engineering first year is common for all first years,so idont know much about my curriculum i feel we have enough time in first year,and course is not difficult

the internship and placement opportunities are so good many top companies come here for placement and internship a senior got internship in US for a lakh a month the the statistics are given in NITT website clearly

Placement Experience

From Third Year,students become eligible for placements I think I have no idea about the about the companies availble highest package recieved this year is around 56 lakh in each branch i hope there is guaranteed placement

Fees and Financial Aid

tuition fees is 62500 per sem hoatel fees is 53000 per sem the fees is common for obc and general the other fees like lab fees,registration fees,internet fees add upto 20 to 30k per year SC,ST, PWD has slightly lesser tuition fees

Campus Life

There is praagyan-technical fest and is so famous sportsfete-annual sports festival festember-annual cultural meet and is very big there is 24-hour octagon where you can access internet and others there are many clubs and sports clubs

Hostel Facilities

there is a study table, cot and shelves meal is good and menu fluctuates you get egg or banana daily, there will be tons of seniors to guide you to the registration process there are no nearby PG or room to stay

Admission

i got same marks in mains and advanced i got IIT Mandi engineering physics and NIT Allahabad ee i waited till last round of councelling to get NIT Trichy i did not choose others since distance was a factor and other colleges were not as good as NIT Trichy

Faculty

every faculty is good here and kind they dont remember our names,so no fear in internals and others no one checks our dressses and hairstyle not like school i dont know about faculty student ratio there are two class tests before end semester exams

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc . NIT Trichy In A Nutshell

I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
