- College campus is so huge and beautiful all branch students can make friends over there, you will see a very friendly atmosphere there.
- Faculty members were very supportive during exams and the teaching quality was good because of the qualifications of the professors
- College has various departments like engineering, architecture, science and hotel management, so there are many buildings for each department. So infrastructure wise college is too good.
Dislikes
- The classrooms were not fully furnished at that time.
- Related to mechanical branch, the placements were not much.
- Transportation facilities are too less, location of the college is quite far from mainland.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed mechanical engineering because of my interest in automobiles . So i got to know that there is an automobile subject in this couse, so I decided to join this course. In this curriculum, we usually get the knowledge through books but there are practicals which we have to perform so we can get a real life example of how things works, this makes the students ready for the real world applications.
Placement Experience
Companies visit the campus in last semester of the course. Mostly the companies which visit the campus are IT based and COMPUTER based , so there are few chances of getting placed in those companies. Mechanical engineering companies also do visit but the percentage of students gets selected in those companies are very low. My plans after the completion of this course is to persue BE in mechanical engineering.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees of our college was 45000?, but because of OBC reservation i got the admission in 28000? . The total fees for college increases year by year. Most of the students were in OPEN category so they had to pay full fees that is 45000?.
Campus Life
In our college there is a biggest fest is celebrated which is "EUFORIA" , it is a 3 to 4 days long fest which has varied competitions like dance ,singing , acting and sports related. Also many events also gets celebrated like freshers party for new students, religious events like garba, Shivjayanti, ganesh festivals, etc. Also there is a student union in which the president, vice president gets elected by votes and by interviews, these members directly contacts the Principals, HODs for the query's of the students and the problems they're facing.
Admission
I choosed this college because this college has the great infrastructure for students such as research labs, mechanical engineering labs, chemistry lab, workshops all the facilities here are provided to a student. Also, i choosed this college because it was not too far away from my place. I also had a chance to select the college from navi mumbai, but i choosed this college because of great infrastructure, good campus life, quality of education and near to my place.
Faculty
Faculty is friendly with students, they helps in many things like regarding project work, doubt clearing and the response they give to students is very nice. At our time, our Aniket sir helped us a lot in final year diploma project, they gave us proper guidance and helped us finding errors in our project. The semester exams which are held are conducted strictly, they mix the students of another branches in one exam hall to avoid cheating in exams. Also a squad from university is also keeps monitoring time to time.
