Remarks
I applied almost 20 colleges in the KCET, which I got New horizon college of Engineering, Bengaluru in First round, which I had applied is the 8th college of 20. I pushed to 2nd round and got in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, but the fees was high like around 104000, which was in 2nd position of 20 I had applied. I pushed to 2nd extended round and got BMS college of Engineering, Aided bengaluru of fees 40670.
Course Curriculum Overview
I'm chose to be a mechanical engineering as I'm interested in only this field such as automotive, designing, etc. This curriculum prepares us about the machines and technologies taking place in the real world.
Placement Experience
After the 5-6th sem of Engineering, students will be able to sit in the campus placements based on the CGPA students have got in the previous sems and percentage in your education field. I'm planning to sit for the placements if I didn't get I'm purely interested in doing business.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have got the seat through KCET in BMS college of Engineering, Bengaluru-560019, Aided seat od fees 40,670 per annum and also as I am a OBC, I get state scholarship(SSP) of rupees 18,100. There is a new decision by the management where we will pay rupees 400 for each sem grade card and if any change in grade for backlogs, 200 for each grade marks card.
Campus Life
Every year college celebrates UTSAV and also some of the social events have been done to encourage students on the other activities. There is also sports, Lion club, bullz-racing for the car event where students manufacture a miniature of the racing car.
Faculty
The faculties are very good experienced people with great knowledge which helps students to do well in their exams. The teacher students relationship is very good in this college as the teachers are very supportive.
