Likes
- Environment is very good especially the ambience and quietness. It really helps to focus on studies and being a central university is very hard to find peaceful environment in any other colleges under UA
- Teachers are very supportive and the staff is also very great. Any issue regarding furnishing and needs of students and also they do consider to create discipline unlike other colleges that only consider studies
- Also the infrastructure is very new. Plants and flowers all around and the ground is really big if you need to keep things out of mind and go out for a walk. It really is surrounded by trees providing good environment.
Dislikes
- The library needs to be renewed cause the university is very old and due to this strong need of library because students need to look for books and process of getting a book is tough and time consuming.
- Also the need for time management is very important. Students have to stay at college for far too long time and it becomes exhaustive after 6 hours to sit without break. It reduces drive to study afte sometime.
- Class shifts are sometimes irregular although not very big issue but still it can be looked at. Sometimes teachers are very strict and feels like more of a school and less of a college we are in and that's one issue.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well the ballb is one really hard course which requires a lot of focus and efforts to perform well in. Most of the times students don't perform good because of harshness in copy checking. Although the course and curriculum matches, what's best is that moot courts help for practical application of course and college really puts a lot of efforts into this
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for new enrollment is 50000 for one year. After that it reduces to 45000 per year, including other fees such as registration and admission fees. I paid 45000 a few days ago for my 3rd year admission. Also there are miscellaneous fees for cards but very affordable. Scholarships include Uttarpradesh scholarship scheme because the college is under central university jurisdiction.
Campus Life
A lot of annual and weekly events are held in the premises. Hostels are a not far and campus life is also great. No issue of Ragging in college and also the environment also increases your campus experiences. Smart classes are available and you can also get extra classes in auditorium for better insight. Ncc camps and moot camps are also prevelant
Admission
Okay so Cuet is important to qualify before getting enrolled in this college. The cutoff varies as per reservation and others but it generally stays between 450 to 410 minimum. Also I got chance in Allahabad University main campus but due to waiting for BHU I got late and couldn't get admission there. I got call from BHU but i couldn't go due to its location was far and parents couldn't allow. Minimum eligibility depends on university guidelines
Faculty
So students to faculty is not proper disturbed because sometimes teachers have to also work harder due to less staff of teachers. It really requires some changes and more teachers must be enrolled. Staff is easily communicable that's sure but you have to be very polite at times. Also copy checking is very harsh and a lot of students who don't study properly and attend classes tend to fail.
