basically computer sciece is booming field in all aspects and its in high demand and BE cse course from this college contains all the necessary basic to intermidiate covering subjects , and hence its like stepp by strp approch , every sem from 1st to 8th they increase they level of difficulty from noraml C++ to advanced java everything is thought in this course. additionally courses like full stack developemnet , big data , data science , artifical intelligence is also included in this course. every subject in every sem is thought for 3 to4 months and covered from the basic concepts to advanced . i personally would recommend taking CSE course because it covers everything from from Programming languages to advanced concepts.

basicaly from the end of 6th semester that is from end of 3rd year your placements starts and all kind of companies do visit from IT to chemical to electrical etc. some hire in mass some hire a few particular this college mains a group where all the info are transmitted if a company is wanting to hire it relases a google form throughbthe groups and students can apply if they are eligible. companies like Phonpe, oracle,infosys,accenture,KalkiTech,EY,insightsoftware and alot more list goes on and on... all these companies hire a hand full of students and they 1st give them paid internships for months later full time employee convertment. they highest offer in last year was 32lakh and average is 5lakh to 6lakh with least is 3.5 lakh.

for the course BE {CSE}: this fee is decided from the KCET karnataka govt as per the rank obtained from a Exam (KCET). 1st year : 74k with joining fee 15k total = 89k 2nd year : 98k 3rd year :99k 4th year :1 Lakh including all graduation charges we can avail SC/ST OBC caste merit scholarship from the karnataka Govt every year after the result announcement the portal to apply is http://ssp.postmatric.karnataka.gov.in and if you take management quota fee differs naturally 1st year: 4lakh 2nd year: 3lakh 3rd year: 3lakh 4th year: 4lakh library fee is 2000 for all 4 years comnined , we can avail it back after 4 years if there are no complaints on our account. i have a friend as a hostelate the annual fee of hostel varies from 2lakh to 2.5 lakh.

the college celebrates a annual fest called "Esperanza" where students from various colleges can also take part and win the prize pool generally ranging from 2 - 3 lakhs . the event has many compititions like dance song art work etc. and this is generally held in the even semester of the year like 2nd , 4th, 6th, 8th semesters.. a dj night for two days is held which is a highlight and many celebraties also attend the same . apart from this theres a annual inter department fest called "antaragni" this aslo followa the same competitions but only with the college students , its a vibrant day with a good mood this happens in odd sems of the year , its like CSE vs ISC and so on and a annual cup is circulated through the dept whoever wins that year.

so selection of the college in karntaka happens through the KCET exams and other major exams like COMEDK, JEE etc. i was admitted through KCET based on my rank and category i was eligible for CSE course. KCET lets you choose 3 colleges as options so i took DSATM(my college), Jyothi college(JIT),DSE college all threee were near by home. and all three has good education policy i luckily was able to get seats in all three i had to choose one , i choose DSATM because the college has good placemnets and also travel facilities were available. comapre to other colleges this college is a bit student frirndly , good culturals , and tech clubs are excellent.

every department has around 30 to 40 teaching and non teaching staff and every semester contains approx 4 5 subjects , and teachers are alternated every sem so that every teacher gets a chance to interact with the students throughout . so every sen we have 3 Internal assesements for 50 marks each in all subjects its like once a month test. all 50 marks will be reduce to 20 so 3 tests thourghout sem is 20+20+20=60 and assingments contains 20 mark with some seminar and certifications contains 20 mark so 60+20+20=100, this 100 is divided into half 100/2=50 so this final 50 is that your college internal mark for the final exam rest 50 comes from main board exam from the VTU university.
