Likes
- Teaching and the college environment. There are many lectures that are well aware about their subjects which makes students to catch up
- Talking about the college environment, it's comparably great.
- Since being to college, I came accross many good friends and also friends I have to lose to give a growth in me through physically and mentally.
Dislikes
- Our college should actually have their own cantine where students can come and spend their off periods without going somewhere else to chill.
- If only there was a lot of trees. I personally love to sit under it's shed.
- I really wish private colleges provide atleast a free meal in a month.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since childhood I have been doing well in English when it comes to elaborating poems and stories. This made me choose English as my honours. I love reading poems and novels. Our lectures also put much efforts in letting us understand the deeper aspect of novels and their origin.
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm a recent graduate from Baptist College Kohima. My college has been the best in terms of teaching, infrastructure and many more college facilities. When it comes to course fee, it's affordable for people like me coming from village. Also when we talk about scholarships, we get it twice a year but less the amount.
Campus Life
We have a lot of events in our college. We have music fest, literary fest, cultural fest where everyone comes to show their identity and their culture and many more. We usually have 3days sports taken 2 times a year which is pretty good.
Admission
At first I chose St.Joseph University Dimapur but since I didn't want to disturb the financial issues I had in my house, I just opted for the cheaper and more convenient college. They try to bring out the best in every students. They focuses on the intrest and the potential of the student which is a plus point for the students and also college faculties
Faculty
In terms of interaction with our faculties, I'd give them 8/10. They are friendly and approachable. If I were to choose one faculty, I'd choose Sir Along. Because he's just the best. The worst could be our HOD( I won't mention the name).
