- Non air conditioned class rooms which becomes difficult in summers
- Overfilled buses which makes it difficult for students coming to college from longer distances
Course Curriculum Overview
I took this course because this course has really been growing currently, I alwayhad interest in data science and incorporating it with AI really looked promising. My curriculum teaches me problem solving, learning algorithms, coding and statistical analysis which is very helpful with my field. The timing of exams is proper as well with two internal examinations and then the final exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
I belong to the NRI quota hence I pay a large amount of money per year, but he fee varies if you joined the college through EAMCET or JEE. Then the price is between 1 lakh - 2 lakhs. Biometric system helps people who joined through competitive examinations get fee reimbursement if they have minimum attendance of 75%.
Campus Life
Convergence is the technical fest of VNR VJIET, we have many software and hardware competitions as well as fun games organised by the college clubs. We also have a yearly cultuifest called sintillashunz which is a three day fest including hip-hop competition, traditional day and DJ night. They're typically held in the first 6 months of the year. Libraries are well equipped with books from various authors, digital library is also available. Multiple sports including basketball, cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, throwball, carroms, billiards are available. We have clubs for photography, art, dance, music, English literature, nature, studeniforce and multiple student chapters for student career growth and network building are also available such as CSI, IEEE etc.
Admission
I applied for VIT and CBIT but couldn't receive it as the course I wanted was not available. I got a rejection from VIT chennai. I got confirmed admission from malla reddy but I preferred VNR VJIET because of the placements, faculty and campus. Exams accepted are EAMCET and JEE to get admission here. Getting a seat in this college isn't very easy.
Faculty
Every class has a separate faculty, each class has a class teacher who teaches one of their subjects. Exams are not very difficult. Questions are asked based on the syllabus only. Few students aren't able to clear the exams, most of them pass the exam.I had amazing faculty which includes Mr Ashok, Mr Ganesh. Mrs Swathi and Mrs Bhanu. All these teachers taught the subject really well and peaked my interest in that subject.
