Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is good here. But it has been changed for us That is little bit tough actually. The curriculum is really helpful for real world access. I had improvement in the areas of physical chemistry and inorganic chemistry because of new curriculum
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee paid is different. First year i have paid 23000 because it includes registration fee and sem also. Then in second sem i have paid 3200.here we have pay extra exam fee according to the no. Credits i gain through a certain course. Then in 3rd sem i have to pay 12300 as sem fee then in 4rth sem i have to pay 3200 again. Then in 5th sem i have to pay 12300 and in 6th sem 3200.when it comes to 7th sem 12300 i have to pay and in 8th sem it would be 3200 this pattern goes for the next year also. We can gain a lot of scholarship and university is also providing scholarship to us like the first three ranks in every class will get 8000,6000,5000 as scholarship. After every semester exam the scholarship will be given. Since this is a central university we are eligiblr to apply national scholarships. E grantz, central sector, nsp, and lot more scholarships are there. There is reservation seats for sc and st. These people have to pay less amount than general category. No managem
Campus Life
There are a lot of festivals celebrated like onam, pongal, bathukama, garba, as of regions and there are so many programmes like akansha provided by mba department, vanicom provided by commerce department and etc. Sports like volleyball, football, cricket, badminton are taken seriously. There are so many sports event occurring every year. Library is also so good they provide every kind of book needed for academics. Extracurricular activities re done by students soo much. They do soo many things for making campus enjoyable
Hostel Facilities
Room facilities are really good. Good maintenance. Meal quality is average.. And menu is available for veg and non veg and also north and south indian food menu are there. Registration in hostel is done after getting admission in respective department. A slip given by HoD is given in hostel office and they provide hostel to us after paying money include caution deposit and 6 month mess fee
Admission
I applied to mes college,ponanni at first and i got seat there. Then had been there for 3 months but i couldn't focus on my studies because of distractions i faced from that college so i changed from there. The eligiblity is decided by cuet exam. After getting the results of cuet exam. You can apply to any university you wanted. They provide merit list and waiting list. If your name is there you can join on the date they says. If you re not selected try for spot admission
Faculty
Faculty no. Here will be 23 or 25 in each department. Each faculty has there own specialization in their field and there are good in teaching their subjects. Certain faculty will be so horror but when it comes to exam state they won't be horror. Exams easiness depends on faculty
