Our college is considered the best college in the city amongst the private colleges in Indore.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Curriculum includes 5 theory subjects with 5 units in each subject and 4 or 5 according to the semester practical labs and the exam structure includes giving 5 theory exams and 4 or 5 external exams for the practical lab subjects. The Curriculum is relevant as it includes all the relevant information regarding the subject and makes us through with the subject but the exam structure is very basic and very direct questions are asked which does not help to test the conceptual knowledge of the student and students rely on reference books like Shivani to pass the exam. The curriculum helps in making us a better professional as we will be acquainted with all the concepts of the subject which we will apply in our professional jobs.
Placement Experience
The placement of the college is very active for the mainstream branches like Computer science and Information and Technology while it is poor for the core branches like EC, Civil, and Mechanical.
College Events
The main event celebrated in our college is Ardor which is the annual fest held every year which includes events like a sports event, singing, dancing, And events of Entrepreneurship cell that include Adastra in which students put stall and play games and fundraising events that also includes marathons and department wise based events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure includes the fees of four years course to four lakhs approximately. The first year fees include submitting sixty thousand rupees in the first semester and another twelve thousand for bus fees then forty thousand rupees in the second semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
I opted for the scholarship of Madhya Pradesh scholarship for Other backward classes in which I had to submit documents in the college after applying for the scholarship through the m.p portal which is 27000 per year.
Campus Life
The campus life is too similar to the school life except with fewer rules as we have uniforms here and we come to college in the morning, attend lectures and go back home which is what we did in the school except taking care of our hairs and uniform and fewer bunks. The gender ratio is 3:1 in branches like CS, EC and 20:1 in civil and mechanical. Sports are optional. extracurricular activities are arranged for different departments according to their interests like workshops of PCB designing and mobile workshops for EC students and robotics workshops.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni students are made to meet the current student once a year and the senior students help juniors in viewing the placement scenario.
Admission
I gave the Joint Entrance Exam which is for the admission in the National Institute of Technology and other colleges in Madhya Pradesh and I could not qualify the cut off marks in the joint entrance exam then I attended the Madhya Pradesh counseling and in the result I was alloted Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research then I verified my documents in SGSITS and took admission in the month of July 2017.
Faculty
Most of the faculties of the college focus on completing the syllabus which includes covering the 5 units of the syllabus of the subject and hardly some faculties focus on the practical aspects and extra knowledge of that subject. I would asses the faculties as average course and syllabus oriented.
