Course Curriculum Overview
The college is under VTU University, so the syllabus and course structures are set by them. From 2015 the syllabus was under the CBCS scheme. The syllabus is pretty old fashioned but they are trying to advance it. The college has 3 internals and one external exam, it used to have a 20-80 scheme.
Placement Experience
The college has very good placement opportunities for every student studying here, over 100+ companies come here for campus selections. Almost every student gets placed in one or the other company, Many reputed companies visit this college such as Deloitte, HPE, TCS, LTI overall it's a good college for creating a bright future and to learn something creative.
College Events
CMRIT has a cultural fest called "CULTURA" which takes place annually. It is a great opportunity for students to exhibit their talents as it is an Inter-College fest. Artists like Raghu Dixit, Arjun Janya have been featured in the DJ nights and concerts. The college also has a TEDx CMRIT event which takes place annually and is a great place to network, articulate ideas, to get inspired & to stay inspired. The crowd is very decent. No local "Hooligans" on the campus. There is ABSOLUTELY NO RAGGING on the campus. The seniors are very friendly & helpful to their fellow juniors.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are pretty much higher compared to other colleges, per year fees are around 2 lakhs including everything. Those who opted for hostel have to pay around 1 lakh, the hostel fees vary every year according to seater type like single seater to 4 seaters.

No, I have not opted for any scholarship or education loan, the college generally provides scholarships based on parents income or on some exams.
Campus Life
The campus life is very happening, the gender ratio is almost equal and diverse types of people come to college to study even from foreign countries. The wide range of extracurricular activities is conducted in our college. Each department has its own fully equipped labs, there are sports events conducted on a monthly basis. Competitions like a hackathon, debates, robotics, etc are also conducted.

Yes, they guide us to which notes to prefer and what to do in the future and about the placement and about all the government exams.
Admission
The admission process was through counselling. Once the results were announced, the counselling dates were almost after a month. There were 2 rounds of counselling. In each round, there were different slots on a different day for different rank holders. The counselling process was pretty long, it had different stages of verification. After all the verification process, they were asked to put the 3 college choices of our own, according to seat availability the candidates were provided with college seats.
Faculty
The teachers here are way beyond talented and they are so friendly that you can need not fear to ask doubts in the middle of the class. The teaching quality is good and here they teach us with practical knowledge which helps us in the future life and every faculty is so talented and their teaching ways are innovative such that their way of teaching makes you understand every bit of the topics that are taught.
