Review from a normal BCA student

I think I sometimes regret my decision to choose this course due to the curriculum The curriculum doesn't prepare you for real-world as there syllabus is very old I think the curriculum should be up to dated with real world so students can be prepare for real-world problems The frequency of exams is good but I don't like the exam checking of punjabi university patiala as I get a very low marks in result even though I know I write very good and deserve more marks

For year like the first year I paid around 29,000 then next 2 years it's around 26,000 All other expenses like lab fees, examination fees are included in above fees Some of my friends from SC category have to pay around 4,000 rupees per year They got scholarship in the amdedkar scholarship and under the centre scholarship it's not easy to get scholarship if you are from general category and hindu

There is very few festivals happened in our college,but I think 1 festival event is make on April month The books are not related to syllabus but they have new magazines which I don't read so I don't know much about magazine section A anual sport event is always made on March-April which is very enjoyable There is a active NSS group and NSS 7 days campus is always made around January-February

I applied to other colleges like mohindra college and modi college and also got confirmed admission from these colleges but I choose these college as this college is nearer to my home also this college has good value over the other colleges i applied to The admission process is very simple just registered to admission portal of Punjab

The faculty are very good they are kinda friendly not too bad I mean faculty members have good nature The faculty to student ratio for BCA students are good like 20 to 1 I like the library faculty members most as they are very friendly and always help me to find books
