- Continous avalability of wifi and unlimited use which can be used at any time of the day.
- Availability of library and xerox services nearby which helps a lot for printing projects and lab works.
- Availability of all services such as zomato ,blink it, amazon , big basket in case if you have any needs.
Dislikes
- Mess food is not that great some times such that many people tend to order food from outside or go out to eat.
- Distance between hostels and teaching blocks are a bit far which need a walk of minimum 15 min to reach.
Course Curriculum Overview
My subject is CSE, and it is a very fun subject to learn. The sense of achievement you receive when a code you write runs as you desire feels great. The curriculum teaches the basic required subjects to master the course. The rest is your own practice and hard work. Exams are conducted, and a mini-test is performed 4-5 weeks after the beginning of the semester. midterm is after 5-6 weeks after the mini-test. The end term is conducted at the last week of the semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have an EWS, so my tuition fee per semester is waived. It is 17k for the first semester, and for the remaining semesters, it is 6.7k. The hostel Fee is paid per semester and will be 16-20k based on room occupancy and mess fee will be 27k and paid for whole year at a time, not per semester.
Campus Life
There are many events held at our college. most of them were held at the end of even semesters. The libraries almost have any book related to the subjects they learn also it would be best if the students read the books suggested by the teachers for a better understanding of the subject. There are also some facilities like canteens, sports complex for sports and playground for games and also a gym. Classrooms are equipped with projectors as it would be easier to understand to show some of the content rather than writing it on the board.
Admission
I applied to many colleges during my intermediate but, later I performed well in Jee main and got a good rank in it. During the counseling of Jee Main, we need to select the colleges we desire to enter, after each round ends, the result of each round is announced. In this process, I was admitted to this college but I was okay with this as this is the best college I can enter with my rank in jee main.Also at that time this college had 100% placement rate for cse students , although it fell now due to the recession that has been going on.
Faculty
The student-teacher relationship is very good. They understand us very well and teach us accordingly. Lab facilities are also very good which makes practical learning much better. There are mainly 3 exams conducted per semester for a subject , mini test, mid-term, end-term. In general mini test is of 10 marks, mid is of 20 and end-term is of 50 marks remaining marks are considered to be internals. Grading for subjects and labs are taken seperately.
