AITS is Best Engineering College in Tirupati

The college has a very good atmosphere for study. Their continuous encouragement is really appreciable. They invite the student's suggestions and implement them at the right time. College management is very good.

The course curriculum was good. However, the college was affiliated to JNTUA, Ananthapuramu. So, the university gave the syllabus and regulations and exam structure. This year college is becoming AUTONOMOUS. So hereafter college will frame its own syllabus to suit industry needs. Obviously, the latest technologies will be included in the curriculum to make better professionals.

Placement opportunities are fair. Sometimes job aspirants are lagging behind a bit in communication skills, and some times technical rounds, etc. However, 30 to 40 % of final year students are being placed in different reputed companies within the final year.

Important events like festivals of national importance, republic day, independence day, regional festival celebrations, UGADI, DUSSEHRA, PONGAL, etc. in addition to FRESHMEN DAY and ANNUAL Day celebrations every year. Also, Engineers Day, Cultural Day, International women's' day, etc. are organized every year.

The college fee for our batch in the first year was Rs.51000/-. Admission fee and other special fee were about Rs.8000/-. The tuition fee for the second year, third year and final year was Rs.51000/-. Optional fee for Campus recruitment training was Rs.6000 in the final year. No other fee was collected. Hostel fee was Rs.55000 per year.

I have availed scholarship from the government at the right time. Education loan is also available. The required documents are given at the right time.

The campus is 100% ragging free. We have very good discipline in our campus. The college has very good labs and infrastructure. We have events at festivals. College is allowing the students to play Sports. Competitions are also held regularly and the rewards are also given to the students. Workshop on Robotics was also held.

Hostel fee was Rs.50000/- per year. The one-time admission fee was Rs.5000. Excellent accommodation facilities on campus. Hygienic food was being provided. Each room has three seater occupancy. The hostel has very good maintenance. CC cameras also provided for monitoring.

Alumni meet is organizing every year to have interaction with passed out students. Their input regarding jobs, placements, technology updates and higher education are also helpful to us.

I got admission in the college through EAMCET counseling. After obtaining the EAMCET rank, I want to APEAMCET Help Line Center located in Tirupati itself. I got verification of all my documents and other certificates and paid counseling fee. I got the registration ID to my mobile. Exercised options on the website. Seat allotted to AITS Tirupati. I joined in Mechanical Engineering.

Our college faculty are fairly good. All the engineering faculty members are with M.Tech qualification and 40% of faculty are with Ph.D. qualification. Innovative Teaching methods like collaborative learning methods are followed by our faculty. They encourage us to interact with the outside world. They are also accessible to us outside the contact hours.
