Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose electrical engineering because i found very interest in electrical thing. The curriculum is good. It provides various opportunity to connect with real world and guide to apply it in real world. Like internship programs, extra curriculum activities like NCC , NSS , outdoor/indoor sports competition and cultural programs.

Internships Opportunities

4

Companies like vedanta and TISCO have offered internship to students . They offered site engineer to manage role with a stipend from 30,000 to 60,000. Projects like construction and controlling of building and power plants.

Placement Experience

4

For campus placement, students from b.tech final year 1st sem were eligible for campus placement. Last year handsome amount of company visit our college, like vedanta, tata, oil and many more. Appox. 75% students gets placement in campus. I have planned to doing m.teach from any iits or nits.

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently i am pursuing b.tech from electrical engineering. I am in 1st year 1st semester. I had paid semester fees around Rs16000(which includes admission charge) and hostal charge around Rs17000. From next semester, only 5000 we have to pay as a semester fees and hostal charge same as throughout the semester. Amount for other categories students like sc and st have different. They have to pay 4000 as semester fees and 14000-15000 as hostal charge( depending upon the hostals where u are staying). By national scholarship programs(NSP) our college provide scholarship to SC and ST categories students. According to my knowledge per year they will provide rs50000.

Campus Life

5

In 1 year there is many event that where held in my college. So firstly fresher's meet aka GFM( general fresher's meet) where organized in August month. Then, a cultural festival was held in last week of November. This event is called RACAF. It is 3 days event full of dance music and drama. After this evnt we have sports event called synergy. Which was held in February, it is also 3 days event full of games and entertainment. This college is in arunachal pradesh so we have an event called AIFO( Arunachal pradesh indigenous festival) which was celebrated in January. Then finally we have general fairwell meet(GFM) in the month of may.

Hostel Facilities

5

In my room, college provide a table, chair and bed. The quality of meal is average and menu is very Dietrich. Hostal is very much affordable and registration process is very easy it can be done online.

Admission

The admission process is very simple. First we have fill online form for Nerist Entrance Exam(NEE) For base module-NEE 1, For degree module-b.tech/b.sc (forestry) - NEE 2 and for lateral entry in b.tech 2nd year- NEE 3. For NEE 1 Eligibility: 10th passed with more than 75% For NEE 2 Eligibility: 12th passed with more than 75% (PCMB) For my course Jee mains were accepted or NEE 2 Overall admission experience is good and easy.

Faculty

4

So i am an electrical engineering student. And in electrical department i have found very much supportive faculty. The teacher who is tough us is not only support us but those professor who haven't tough us also support us give suggestions and path to follow us. We have two exam in one semester: mid semester and end semester. Mid semester is of 30 marks( 3 questions where asked each of 10 marks) the paper is moderate. End semester is of 50 marks( 5 questions asked, each of 10 marks) this is really very tough.
