An introduction about Engineering college

My course is Information Technology which I believe will be so useful in terms of future aspect. Because programming is the thing which is so useful and everything today is becoming digital. This course teaches us well about the actual thing which happens when we use all the electronic things and mobile phones and laptops etc. The thing which should be improved is update the course regularly because many thing in the course is too old , because the technology is growing day by day and faster so it needs to be updated. Here in our college 1 semester is of 6 months and they take 1st internal exam after the completion of half of the course and another internal of remaining portion of the course and final external exam is of full course of the semester

Many companies visits our campus are of mostly Surat some names are Narola Infotech solution LLP gives stipend of 4000, another is Roima intelligence India pvt Ltd visited our campus with stipend of 10,000 to 15,000 , another company Deltax visited our campus with package of 7 L.P.A and there are many mor companies visited with similar range of packages and stipend .

From the 7th semester the placement activity starts in our college and there are many companies that visit our college, there are plenty of companies like Bossleo, L & T , TCS etc with packages ranging from 2-3 L.P.A - 10-12 L.P.A , most of the students get placed from the campus and my plan after my degree is to go abroad for masters study

For the first semester fees was 53,000 and later on for every semester fees is 43,000 and there are total 8 semesters in my bachelors degree so I'm in 7th semester currently and I belong to Open category so no scholarship I got as of now and have paid fees of 7th sem. Besides that there are so many scholarships available for ST, SC category I don't know in detail but many of my friends took that scholarship

Currently our college is organizing a tech fest which is of 1-2 days in the celebration of Engineer's day which is on 15th of September. Our college has so big library probably biggest library in our area is of 6 floors and it has 2-3lakhs of different types of books and is available for all students of our college. Then our college holds Youth fest every year in the month of December which is the biggest cultural event of our college which lasts for 4days. And Every year they also organize sports event of each department separately and also inter - college sports tournament which includes many sports like cricket, football, basketball, table tennis, running, volleyball, chess etc

I have applied in of the college in Surat named Sarvajanik college of Engineering and Technology but the cutoff for open category was 80% in 12 and my percentage was 72.9 only so they demanded donation of 2 lakhs which I didn't paid and so in my area there was only this college providing my desired course so I selected this college as the admission criteria was low and this college specifically gives admission to open category more compared to others so there was no eligibility exam and I got selected directly without Any donation

At first we were having a bunch of faculties and all was good , but as of now faculties started to leave college so they are sort of faculties and about exams they take 2 internal exams of 40 marks each and result will be average of both the internals and rest 60 marks is External exam which is also final exam and then the grade is calculated from the total 100 marks of all exams combined. The passing criteria is 40 marks , below 40 marks is considered as failed in that particular subject but you can give rested when it is scheduled many students get fails and majority of them clears in 2nd or 3th try and very few get detained maybe 2-3. The relationship between faculty to student is so good , here the faculty are so friendly but they are less so I liked almost every faculty
