Likes

Good girls and boys ratio, though boys are more than girls
Freedom of students. In timing is at 9pm for girls
More than, 4 libraries are there, all information is available in finger tips

Dislikes

Hygiene. In every 500mt there's toilet but no one takes looks after it
Food quality, hostel food quality is not good, could be better

Philosophy is a very practical subject, as philosophy is considered as the mother of all subjects, philosophy deals and judges the day to day life of people This year onwards the syllabus is changed. The university is adapting the UNEP syllabus We'll be the 1st batch for the new changed syllabus

Considering the subject philosophy, there are no campus selecting, you have to complete your degree, then you further have to know what to do next. As of now as there is Change in syllabus, the course will be of 3yr and +1yr of research. After that students will directly get the post graduate certificate, and wholly elegible for NET JRF

There are numerous programs conducted in this campus, hostel functions, dept functions etc You are freely accessible to each and every knowledge of this university, you also have access to e-resource centre There are numerous extra curricular activities, and you may take part in any of the sports you like There are many groups, and clubs run by students which are very beneficial for us.

Hostel Facilities

As I'm in mahanadi girl's hostel, I'll state on the fact related to it. Room is very good, Meal quantity and quality is very good Registration process of hostels is very simple All the facilities provided here are amazing

Admission

Ravenshaw University was my 1st choice. I wanted to persuae bachelors of arts in philosophy only. I got selection in the 1st phase of Sam's in 1st selection. You have to pay the admission fee online then a particular date will be given on which you have to come and verify all your documents. Ravenshaw University has got NAAC A++, that's why the cut-offs are very high.

Faculty

Ratio of faculty and students is very good.. though philosophy dept is smaller than others. All the prof are highly informed, educated and deserving ones. There will be semester exams in every 6months before that internals will be done

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love economics in 12th class so I choose this course. I love the calculation of statics and more intrested in business so I attracted toward economics. It was my first choice to choose economics. In 11th class our economic teacher was very good teacher his teaching inspire me lot to choose this course . It was difficult in the 3rd sem but that's the kick giving to you to solve hard questions.

RAVENSHAW UNIVERSITY, CUTTACK is the one and only NAAC A++ tagged Govt university of Odisha also one of in India. Its everyone's dream to study in my University. Ravenshaw univerrsity history is more historic then other colleges and institutes. If you are lucky then you will get the admission into this. Other private and othr colleges you can get admitted by scoring avergae mark or with good amount of money but to get into Ravenshaw only your very good marks and luck is needed for it. So it;s the reason. I directly applied into this uniersity and get admission as am eligible for it and lucky also. The admission process is normal as other colleges.
