Dislikes
- Lack of goos infrastructure. The buildings are very too old.Not having wifi facility for students
- Lack of hostel facility for boys. And need permission from academic in charge to take leave everytime
Course Curriculum Overview
There is updated syllabus for new BHMS students which is based morely on practical knowledge. Curriculum provide us various posting oppurtunity at different hospital which helps to understand the subject more well
Internships Opportunities
Internship of 1 year with a stipend of 22000 per month.Usually stipend will be delayed by months.Having the oppurtunity to work in central rearch institute for homoeopathy for 3 months. Rest 3 months is at government hospital and 6 months at college hospital
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees -1260/yr PTA Fund-20,000 Special fee - 5000/yr Exam fee-around 3000-vary every year according to subject Union fund-1500/yr I applied for egrantz obc, it will cover my tuition fee and exam fee and also give 500/- as pocket mkney for every month as a hosteller. Only one scholarship will get. You can choose what you have to apply.E-grantz,Merit cum need etc are available.
Campus Life
Most of the programmes conducted by students union. Programmes include union day , onam celebration , christmas and newyear celebration,arts fest for 3 days, sports fest for 2 days , graduation day celebration and college day. Participation in different inter college fest in arts and sports is there.Having many active clubs which also conduct many programmes of theri own.
Hostel Facilities
College hostel is available for girls only. Having 3-shared bedrooms with a bed,chair and table for each.No storage facility. Only kettles are allowed.Having good kerala food as menu which will be changed every year.
Admission
I got into colleges through KEAM - Ayush allotment based on NEET 2020 score. Academics and internship at central rearch institute of homoepathy is best here than other homoepathic medical colleges in kerala.But having fees higher compared to government colleges and lack of infrastructure as well
Faculty
1:8 is the approximate faculty :student ratio. Faculties are very approachable and well qualified. Many of them consider as their own children and we often visit their home and they treat us with special dishes. University exam is at the end of every year. But during an acdemic year they conduct 3 internal exam , you have to score well enough to attend univeristy exam. The least no.of students failed is among our college compared to other homoeopathic colleges under KUHS
