Course Curriculum Overview

Aktu curriculum is very good for pharmacy students as it is affiliated from it. Also a lots of lab classes and practice are made to make students ready for placements. Take to seminar hall and hospital visits for students

Internships Opportunities

Some leading companies like Cipla ,Sun pharma , Apollo pharmacy , Alkem , Alembic Pharmaceuticals , Dabur Research Foundation etc visits the campus to provide placement in researxh and development, quality control, sales and marketing etc based on your experience and marks

Placement Experience

Dfrom 7th sem students became ready or eligible for the placements. Big companies and mass recruiting like cipla, mankind , adott , etc... visit campus and nearly 70% pf students get placed by these medical giants

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of 1 year course is 110000 for each student. General category students do not get any scholarship but sc st and obc gets nearly 60000 every year. Also the fees for lab coat is ?500 extra from yearly fees.

Campus Life

There are a lot of annual and cultural fests conducted in lloyd . Freshers party and farewell party are normal in the lloyd. Catalyst is the annual mega fest of Lloyd and Niyukti is annual job given to students

Admission

The college provide both admission by councilling and direct basis via management quota. For councilling you have to appear in CUET examination. I didnt gave cuet so opted for direct admission by my boards marks

Total there are approximately 400 students and 25 teachers so about 16:1 is there . Easy to access for doubts and other related issues. About 20% students fail pr get backed in exams and there are 2 exams total in 1 year

Bpharma at VBSPU

Course Curriculum Overview:

In current scenarios b pharma is one of the best option to pursue carrier for becoming drug inspector or pharmacist. The frequency of exam is after every 3 months we have to give sessional exams followed by annual exams ( theory + practicals).

Decent College with Average Facilities and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average, not very high but some companies do visit every year. Students become eligible for placements from final year, mostly from 7th or 8th semester. Companies are not very big mostly local or mid level pharma companies come. Some roles offered are like production, quality control and marketing. Highest package is not very high, around 3-4 LPA and average package is around 2-2.5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is not very high, maybe around 40-50% approx. Many students prefer to go for higher studies or try off campus jobs. My plan after completing degree is to look for job in pharma field or maybe go for higher studies depending on opportunity. Overall placement is okay but needs improvement.

Simple College with Average Opportunities

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is average, not very high but also not too bad. Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Some companies visit the college but not many big companies comes regularly. Companies like small pharma companies and local companies visit and offer roles like production, quality control and sales. The highest package is around 3–4 LPA and average package is about 2–2.5 LPA. Number of offers is also limited and not all students get placed. Around 30-40% students get placement from campus, rest students have to search job on their own or go for higher studies. College gives some support but not very strong placement help. Because of this, many students including me are planning for higher studies or preparing for competitive exams to get better opportunities. Overall placement is okay but need improvement.
