What Students Say
Likes
- I really liked the college's infrastructure and facilities. It's a complete ac campus. The washrooms are pretty clean. The greenery and size of the campus is also pretty good.
- There are a lot of faculty present and some are really good in their fields. You could also interact with them one on one after the classes
- It also has a supercomputer which you can use if you'd be working on a project which requires one. The timetable is also pretty flexible so the students don't feel stressed.
Dislikes
- The college is too populated. In my course alone there are over 3000 students so the competition is going to be crazy for the placements.
- In your first year there are going to be over 150 students in just one class which makes it a little difficult to study properly.
- As it is a private university so if you want a good career you cannot depend on it that much you're gonna have to learn and do things yourself which makes you unique for good placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
I didn't really know much about my course curriculum before joining the university. I was just happy I got computer science. But after joining I kindoff realised that it's not worth it. It's better to just learn stuff on YouTube rather than paying so much money to a college just for a worthless degree.
Internships Opportunities
The university helps a lot in getting internships. Even as a fresher I have alot of opportunities in getting internships but at the end of the day the company chooses you based on your own skills so you're gonna be have to exceptional in order to actually secure one. The university will help you in applying for internships to companies it has partnerships with but in order to get accepted or shortlisted you're gonna have to work hard yourself .
Placement Experience
Currently whats shown online about the placement status of my university is pretty good but that's the status of 2022 or 2023 when my college used to enroll only 500 to 600 students but this year that has changed to around 3000 and it will be increasing more in the upcoming years so obviously the placement status is going to be decreasing exponentially.
Fees and Financial Aid
First year's tuition fees is 3,80,000 and a one time registration fees of 45000 so overall first year's fees is going to be 425000. While from your 2nd year to your last year the fees is going to be 390000. And the hostel fees for every year for off campus twin sharing hostel is 180000. Scholarship is also available on the merit basis such as your 12th marks, your jee percentage, your IELTS score, your sat score etc. I got a scholarship of 30% of tuition fees ie 114000 through my jee score of 80 percentile.
Campus Life
The only good thing you're going to get here is a good college life as almost everything is present here. There are so many fests or extracurricular activities happening here almost every week. You'll never feel bored. It would help you to overcome your social anxiety and make more friends to enjoy your college life more. Sports facilities are also very good here you'll get participate in alot of sports such as football cricket volleyball basketball handball badminton tennis pickle ball pool snooker etc.
Hostel Facilities
There are two types of hostel available in my college one is on campus in which only triple sharing rooms are available while the other is off campus which is about 15 kilometres away from the college in which double and triple both sharing rooms are available. Fees is also variable. The on campus hostel is very bad as it doesn't even have an attached washroom and the room size is barely enough for one person let alone three while the off campus's room is pretty big and nice, it also has a attached washroom. Although if you're living off campus you might miss out on a lot of things which are happening in the campus usually after your classes in the evening or night.
Admission
I chose this college over another is mainly because of the course. I didn't get my dream course in another college so i choosed this one. Also because I wanted to get out of my house and experience the hostel Life and since this college is far from my home I chose it. Also because of the facilities available here like for sports and other extracurricular activities.
Faculty
I would say the faculty is ratio is around 30 to 1. I didn't really like my faculty but that's obvious because I couldn't really interact with them since the college is too populated. The exams are pretty easy atleast for me and the marking scheme ain't that strict either. If you know what you're doing you'll score good.
