Likes

They have good labs and coach us through lab throughly. Academically the professor are good they have good experience in research which helps UG students a lot.
They conduct seminars, calling well known scientist from well recognized institutes and they share their research with us
They help us find internships and summer school

Dislikes

Classes are not fixed, they take class whenever they are free. The syllabus can be made bit more challenging

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is easy and can be a bit more challenging but many of the institutes give the same syllabus. The curriculum is matched with IIT's and IISERS. But they dont teach at that level. Exams and managing the syllabus is pretty easy. But sometimes faculty rushes to complete the syllabus at the end, closer to exams

Class Size: 16Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is 99,000 for the first year then the fees reduce to 97,000 for the second year and keeps on reducing at the same rate. The whole amount can be payed all at once or in instalments. Since I opted BSc physics there is no management or seat through entrance exam its the same for everyone. There are scholarship options too

Campus Life

Overall experience is not that great Its pretty boring. The hostel rooms are good but the mess food is bad. The environment here is monotonous. There are few good events and competition which occasionally helps

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is really good except the fact that the hostel manager is very strict and there are a huge set of rules. The mess food is bad I would rate it 5/10. There is no ragging and seniors in hostel are very good and help you. Rooms are clean and not damaged

Admission

This college is well known and its courses are good too. There weren't many offering Bsc Physics so I had to choose the best. Admission is pretty easy and eligibility is their own entrance exam. I had applied for other colleges but this was much more better than ohters

The faculty memebers are well qualified from recognized institutions There are a good number or faculty who support you. There are two tests per semester 1 final exam and 2 assignment where 1 assignment is meant for increasing your abilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Placement Experience:

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
