Course Curriculum Overview

4

For me the course is wel framed and designed and i don't think there is any need of any improvements. as i already said faculties create a wonderful teaching environment that you will actually be interested in learning. In the course of 6 months, for example if it's odd sem exams then you'll having your mid sem around November and finals in January and if it's even sem then mid sem exams will be held in march and end term in May.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have done my graduation from Gautam Buddha University in BA English hons. and I passed out last year in 2023. I belonged to SC category so we have to pay half of the total academics fees that was 15,500 at that time for per semester but it got increased to 19,000. And about the hostel it was compulsory to opt for hostels for first two years of your degree there as this is a residential University although you can withdraw from the hostel in final year. Registration fees and security fees is different for every degree here and also you have to give sports and library fees for one time during your registration here. And that's heartbreaking because this university hardly provides any internships or placements opportunity atleast in this particular degree

Campus Life

3.5

There is no annual festivals or events here but there is a tech festivals organised by ICT college of the department which include so many fun activities and other things. You can access any book and journals easily with just your identity card of the university. And trust me when i say this they have wide range of varieties. Classrooms are fully air conditioning but they don't work and with limited and unorganised furniture. They have the projector in the classroom but doesn't actually worked or used them. Teachers generally send you your notes and books over WhatsApp and teaches through it so you can bring your laptops and tablets to classroom. There is fully accessible stadiums for every kind of sports and once a year there is an annual sports meet that you can take part in. If you want to have training for certain sports you can join the classes for that as well. There are various groups you can be a part of

Hostel Facilities

4

You get your own single seater room with a attached balcony but not attached washroooms. You have to use common washrooms. In room you get a bed without mattresses , A study table , Chair , almirah , book shelf , fan and two lights. Meal quality is ok. They provide four time meal which is breakfast , lunch , snacks and dinner. You have different variety for everyday. They have a meal plan for food. You have to chose at the time of degree registration about the hostel allotment. you have to fill up form and submit fees and you get your room and can shift. First it is better to take hostel because you are safe and also it is way affordable than staying in PG or Flat. but if yoh want to then nearest society is nimbus or purvanchal royal city.

Admission

Actually to be honest i haven't applied to any other colleges for this particular degree. I find it fascinating so i applied for it ane got selected that I also don't know because i took admission during the pandemic of Covid 19.

Faculty

4.5

If I tell you about this particular degree then i can assure you that this department have one of the best faculties in the university. They are so understanding and helping in college hours and after hours if you facing any issues. You can laugh and have fun with them. They create a fun loving teaching environment that you hardly gets bored. The best faculty in the department is Dr. Bipasha Som and you'll get to the reason by yourselves when you meet them. She never let you down and always motivates you not matter how bad you performed. And i rather not prefer saying anything about the faculties i hate because they already left the university. So about the exams there are two exams per semester. First one is mid semester exam which is of 25 marks and Final semester exam that is of 60 marks and other 15 marks depends on your assignments and presentations there. and exams are not generally that hard if you read and have focused mind. i find it more relevant than any other top university

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith - [MGKVP], Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Education)
Reviewed on Feb 17, 2026(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA curriculum in my college at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) for the 2025–2026 academic year is structured under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, making it academically comprehensive but traditionally theoretical. It follows a six-semester system that offers a wide range of subjects, from core Humanities (History, Political Science, Hindi) to modern electives and Vocational courses (e.g., Nutrition, Yoga, or Digital Literacy), providing students with a multidisciplinary framework. In terms of relevance, the syllabus is exceptionally well-suited for students aiming for government services and competitive exams (UPSC/UPPSC), as the depth of social science subjects mirrors the state and national civil service patterns. However, its professional comprehensiveness is lower; while the curriculum includes internal assessments, presentations, and project work to build soft skills, the actual delivery remains focused on rote learning and theory rather than industry-ready practical training. Consequently, the course is highly relevant for an academic or administrative career path but requires significant self-supplementation (internships or external skill-building) for those seeking immediate roles in the private sector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. One of the main reasons I chose this course was its balanced syllabus, which includes both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The curriculum is designed in a way that builds a strong foundation in core subjects while also introducing advanced topics gradually. This helps students understand subjects deeply rather than just studying for exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam, the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.
