Reason for Not Opt for Government Engineering College-Rajkot

There are very high demand of software engineer in the market thats why i have opted for computer department. There are hackathon and and startup cultural which prepare students for the real world application. I suggest the faculties to behave nicely and friendly with students. And don't give rights to security guard to behave rudely and aggressively with the students. There are 2 exmas in entire sem and no difficulty to pass the rxam

Fron semester 6 student become eligible for campus placement. I don't have exactly name of the company but there are 25 company. I haven't visited single company because of i am in 5th semester. There are highest package of 12LPA and average package of 2 LPA . There are 95% student placed . My plans after graduation is to join defence.

There are sem wise fees in Government Engineering College-Rajkot. You will pay 2200/Sem including tution fees,development fees, lab fees etc. And for those who opted for TFWS category course is free. Any student who is doing graduation from this college, fees are same no matter which course you are doing. There are no merit wise scholarship. But Gujarat Government provide you scholarship Caste wise.

There's no annual function in college, there are one hackathon in a year . Only one festival is celebrated entire college is garba.. There are no very wide range of books and journal in college library but there are books available in library. There are wide at department, lab and college level. There are no proper ground of cricket and football. There are no available of sports equipment. No one support sports in college. There are not students run social group club or student portsls , college don't support this type of activities. There are NSS and NCC in college butbthey don't function well because of principal and HOD

There are bed, locker, fan , tubelights , toilet, washroom and drinking facilities available for students. There are No mess in Hostel , quality of water is very bad. Toilet and bathroom quality is very bad .no one is appointed for cleanliness of hostel. We live in mess. You have to register yourself at department level for the hostel and you get room according to you rank in ACPC. I live in girnar hostel of college campus.

I have applied for DAIICT gandhinagar, MSU vadodra, LDE ,ahmdavad, And many good college in entire south to central gujarat. I got confirmed admission from government Engineering College patan and government Engineering College-Rajkot. I have choosed this college because my rank is low and this college have NCC naval wing. I have rejected government Engineering College patan because , it is in very remote areas and out of the city. Admission process of my college is online. You have to get through GUJCET or JEE examination and open account in ACPC and opt for colleges that you want to go and merit wise they allocate the college rank wise and caste wise Most of students give GUJCET exam to get in the college of gujarat.

There are 4-5 faculties available for the same subject. Faculties are not friendly with the students. Acts very rudely with students. Students feel scared to share their problem with faculties. There are prof.Nirali Madhak, prof.Hema, and Priyanka raval which i liked the most because they are very professional,eager to help, and behave nicely with the students. I can't take the name which i don't like because they are government officer. You give two exams in your entire sem .one is mid sem exam and other is university exam. Difficulty of exam is depends on your faculties. There are 20% students fail in exam .and other 80% pass the exam with their own . Faculties don't have role in that. The course curriculum is not good for the students but good for the faculties.
