the curriculm is great for a solid career in research fields and for better understandings how systems work. Although,from current scenario,the curriculm can be improved to include much needed subjects like machine learning ,ai,cloud computing ,aws etc. the frequency of examinations is proper. Due to the 4 internal pattern,it gets easier to attempt the final examination. Teaching methods are also apt although there is scope for much more interactive teaching where students can be acitvely involved in the learning process.

The year wise fee for OC if admitted through CPget is 38,000. We can apply for post matric scholarship by govt of telangana. exam fee is nearly from 2k-3k. There is fee exemption based on different castes and mess bills will be reimbursed if you opt for hostels. The fee for any student is above 30,000. If admitted as a student from different state,fee is 50,000.

osmania celebrates an event called TAKSH typically held in april of every year. its a 3 day event where students can participate and enjoy different cultural programmes and explore other departments. One day of these 3 days,the university will be open to outsiders which means our friends and parents can also visit the uni. Freshers and Farewell parties are hosted generally in feb and in aug-sept but the choice is of srs and jrs of respective branch and is on their decision. The library in every dept has the much needed books in different publications and editions. There is also the ambedkar library which has books from centuries. Every class has a projector and digital boards are being introduced too(not for all classes at once though). There is sports lounge too.

I have visited other colleges and even applied to a few of them. But based on certain parameters, I chose the osmania university. the fee is reasonable for the course than many other colleges. since it is a university ,we learn many things off campus too. Osmania is one of the most renowned and established universities that gives an edge to its students There are lot of different courses you can opt for and you can build a lot of connections with people from different learning backgrounds. The admission is through the Cpget examination. the eligibility for this exam is 50% marks in the related bachelor degree. It is a 100 mark CBT. The syllabus is the syllabus of all three semesters of subejct in the bachelor's degree. For eg, since i was from bsc mpcs, the syllabus for msc cs entrance is the syllabus of Cs in bsc of all 6 semesters. you can download the syllabus from internet also.

The faculty is well qualified and are very experienced. They are very approachable and are very happy to help if you have a query. We should maintain discipline and respect towards them as a matter of fact and they would be pretty kind towards students. They provide valuable insights and learning materials and guidance if approached by students. The exam pattern has now changed. For each semester we have 4 internals and one final exam. each internal is of different pattern and each is from a seperate unit. The first unit is teasted in first internal and there are 4 units thus 4 internals. The final public examination is in the same campus but for 50 marks only. Remaining 50 marks are awarded from the 4 internals and 10 marks are for attendance. The semester exam consists of 4 theory and 2 practical examinations.
