Likes
- One thing I liked is the strictness and proper rules .. Bunk is rarely allowed
- One thing more I liked was good competitive spirit is setup at earlier stages..
- The emphasis they pay on sports and other activities and a lot of chances we get...
Dislikes
- Teachers are (not all). But a lot are non. Inclusive they are always not ready to help and guide..
- Campus is large but there is no proper response from library and other enhancing areas
Course Curriculum Overview
See the course here is properly decided and also there is proper planning done by administrator of education and all and I genuinely feel the course has much to do and the exams are a tension because they conduct semester tests very shortly and one does feels a burden ... The course is good but faculty is not..
Placement Experience
After 6 th semester every candidate can be choosen for placement and that's a really good thing about it ..They have a large number of companies like Wipro,yes Bank etc... Even Google approaches... The highest package is 52 lacs in this field .. 100% placement they say but ya 98% students do get placed ..My plans are to just try for placement that's it
Fees and Financial Aid
See chitkara has semester wise fees and is BE CSE the fees is total 1,20,000 and lab fees is inclusive in this but exam fees is seperate and to be paid around exams time.. the fees is generally high and I think fees in previous years a major jump is seen because earlier it was 80,000 for a semester....
Campus Life
I don't felt a very splashing college life as overated it is. The campus fairs, events do hapen but still at somewhere management is not proper.. social group are worthless ????... They just consume much of your time .. and now benefit afterwards
Admission
I'll tell you why because I think was better college in my thinking because many of my siblings have also studied here and they got placed well.. so if we talk about placement yes they offer good placement opportunities... The eligibility is simple they accept on basis of board marks you should have above 60 percents generally they accept over 75 but ya after counseling and all they welcome everyone who passed the CBSE OR STATE boards they donot select any basis of JER
Faculty
See there are total of 4 subjects and one teacher is for one subject.. I'll tell you my case I don't feel much involvement of 2 teachers out of them and also some of them just leave class before the class ends. The donot call foor doubts... Teaching style is very old and monotonous.. so boring that one couldn't have interest fully ...
