- 24/7 AC in the AC rooms unlike other hostels
- cleaners and room service easily available
- good cafeteria and food court and the fact that some shops are open even after midnight
Dislikes
- poor management, the staff here isnt very helpful
- the area where college is, isnt good either. there isnt much close to the college but the only good thing is that connectivity is good
- the mess here is terrible. the food that they serve in the hostel mess is so bad that u would never willingly eat it if u have money to spend on cafetaria
Course Curriculum Overview
i think i went for this course mainly because it offered a specialization in international accounting and finance which is what caught my attention. The curriculum isnt very helpful for real world scenarios but hey thats what u get for taking admission in galgotias. they should get better english and marketing faculty is what i'll say. exams were almost 1-2 month apart from each other and not very difficult.
Internships Opportunities
many companies came to offer internships and it was complulary for students to opt for them in sem 5. the company that applied for was Insplore Consultancy. I was under them as a trainee for 3 months and my experience was nice
Placement Experience
the college placements for our course arent really much to look at. stundents get elligible for placements from sem 5 companies like dellotie and KPMG have visited but not with good packages highest package from our batch was 6LPA and avg was 3LPA % of students getting placed is very low im planning on going for MBA after my degree
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fee for the program i opted for was INR 119000, which makes the total tution fee for the entire course to be INR 357000. The hostel fee for AC rooms was 15000 per month and 12000 per month for non AC rooms. The fees for B.COM HONS without any specialization was 110000 per year.
Campus Life
the campus life is fine and there are a lot of clubs for the stundents that do take intrest in all of that. clubs like linguists and other ones help bring people with similar intrests together. there were many events for people intrested in other activites too
Hostel Facilities
hostel facilities are fine for the price that you are paying. u get 24/7 ac if u opt for an ac room and that is very nice considering the weather. the food there is dogshit and nobody in their right minds should be eating that. other facilities are fine
Admission
some of the reason why i picked this college were simple admission process academic performance as compared to competitors the campus life the financial aid and scholarships the facilities in hostel i did not apply to any other colleges and hence did not get any rejection there isnt any such admission criteria. they basically take in everyone who applies .
Faculty
faculty to student ratio was bad and most of the faculty was cooperative with a few exceptions ofcourse. there used to be 3 internal assesments and 1 mid term and 1 end term exam in our first and second year of college. In third year it was changed to 2 internal assements and 1 mid and end term respectively. The exams arent too hard but and there werent many students failing.
