- The boys to girls ratio in my particular branch is very bad. I am from ECE. There are almost 10 girls in a class of 70 students
- The placement opportunities are not that great.
- Getting a room in the college hostel is one tough job.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very good and relevant. They teach us things that we can use in real world problems. The exams are of moderate level and most of the students are able to pass the exams as the faculty teach in a good manner.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid 1,15,000(tuition fees) + 8000 examination fee+ 1,45,000 hostel fees in my first year of admission. In my second year I paid 1,09,603(tuition fees)+8000(examination fee)+1,45,000(hostel fees). Currently I've enrolled into my third year and have paid 1,09,603(tuition fees)+8000(examination fee)+1,45,000(hostel fees). Since I am from the general category, I do not get any reservations. I haven't even got any scholarship as of now.
Campus Life
Campus Life is amazing. There are a lot of clubs that run in our college. I am a part of the art club named Chitrashala. I get good exposure in my club. The club heads are pretty good and motivate us and guide us through the right path. A lot of sports and extra curricular activities are also organised frequently.
Hostel Facilities
I live in a hostel outside the campus in the same locality as my college as getting the college hostel is pretty tough. The rooms are pretty spacious and fully air conditioned. I live in a triple sharing AC room. The food is not that great but all the other facilitate top notch.
Admission
I chose this college as it is one the best private colleges in Northern India for B.Tech. Plus I had good score to crack the counselling session. I got into this branch as it always fascinated me. I always wanted to study in this field.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is commendable. They are pretty approachable and have good behaviour towards the students. I liked almost all of my faculties except one who deducted my marks in a team project despite of me doing all the work and my teammates did nothing. The only reason was that they often talked to the teacher and she knew their names. Two internal assessment examinations are conducted in which the syllabus is divided into half. And then they conduct a PUT before the end semester examination.
