Remarks

Starting from the good remark. The students of the college are united and people misjudge the university by its name but the studies teachers are very helpful and generous. The bad remark would be the ongoing infrastructure construction in the university as it may hurt any student.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum and the exam structure is quite decent. The exam and assignments are done for the sake of formality. Sometimes we may get something that is out of our syllabus but either way no one complaints about that. The students do not bother to go against the teachers even if the questions are not appropriate according to the paper.

Placement Experience

1

There is no placement cell or placement drive in this college. The students complete their course and search for jobs and internships on their own. the teachers and the faculty may help in finding a job or an internship depending upon the performance and the terms with the teachers. They might suggest you someplace where you might get selected.

College Events

2

There is only one annual event celebrated and that is COSAC. By the time it was hosted by the journalism department it went nice till the functions were all day and night. they were Qawwali in the nights and various colleges around the city used to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the university is quite economical in comparison to other colleges in the city. The fee of BAJMC for one year is around 19000. The fee submitted gets reimbursed by the scholarship so the fee is not that big thing. Their options to submit the fee per semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship provided by the Uttar Pradesh government is the only source of scholarship. Some of the students get the scholarship on time whereas some of them do not get a single penny.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life has been amazing so far. the students are quite cooperative. the general people may misjudge it the name that it may be biased towards religion but it is not. All the students study under one roof despite the religious dissimilarities.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are helpful when they have achieved something from the college after they have completed their degree and they are very few of them that prefer to staying in touch with the juniors.

Admission

This college is near my home so I used to pass this college in my school times. I went to college as my intermediate exams finished, got the admission form from the administration department and then filled the challan from the Canara Bank in the college branch. A date was give for the counseling went there did the formalities and got the admission easily.

Faculty

4

The faculty is quite decent. They do their duty with full dedication. The teaching staff with the professors corporately do the work and help the students. The faculty teaches the class on time and sometimes they would not teach anything in the class and have an interactive session which I guess is more helpful as being a student of mass communication interaction is more important than bookish knowledge.

Placement Experience:

80% students are placed through DME with a package of 5 LPA to 7 LPA on an average which is quite decent for a fresher entering the industry. The top recruiting are for placements are Bharat Express, PR Guru, Amar Ujala, Dynamite News, T.H.E.M.E.S. Over 90% of the students were placed for internship in Amar Ujala, PR Guru, Aaj Tak, ABP News and Doordarshan. Top roles offered are journalist, content writer, anchor, film maker, and back end roles like video editor, graphic designer and many more. I personally plan to go into video editing after getting the degree.

Placements of our colleges and mediocre. From 6th semester students become elegible for campus placement. The highest package offered was 6LPA and the average package is 3-4 LPA. Placement depends upon the students applying for placement through college. Many students gets internships or jobs by themselves before even reaching placement cell.

Students become eligible for placement during their final year of college. DME offers several different companies that it has tie ins with for placements to students such as Gadgets 360, Aaj Tak, Myntra, PTI and D&P. 70-80% students get a good placement package. My personal plan following graduation is to pursue my higher education in correspondence with employment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself was nothing out of the ordinary material, it teaches you the basics of the field but the faculties were pretty good and helped us understand not just the basic but a little more so that we could actually be able to work in the environment once we get there. Also they organise workshops which was mandatory for all the students without any extra charge to learn from professional what to do and how to do it best. We also used to get projects which actually helped alot in learning with practice the theory.
