Likes

Campus has a good canteen & a sports arena which provides opportunity to interact with new students
College also offers short term courses like MS EXCEL & MS OFFICE
Teachers are very helpful in nature and always keen to encourage the students

Dislikes

Campus is little bit small considering the no. of students they give admission to.
The college guards are so rude towards the students
The students fight among themselves in the college campus

BCOM (HONS.) is a good course which mainly focus on subjects like economics , accountancy , business administration and it also provide a opportunity to pursue any other professional course hand to hand because it is not that much tough

Internships Opportunities

Many companies & groups like JP MORGAN, TCS , WIPRO approached in our college for placements & internships for the posts like marketing employee through interviews and entrance tests. They offered a min stipend of 5000 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

So i took admission in August 2022 just after completing my 12th class. They took an admission fees of 40000 which was inclusive of the first year fees. The college campus is filled with great opportunities for sports , interacting with new people, professors also play with the students in the sports arena. If anyone scores above 90 percent in the 12th board exams they could get scholarship also from the college. The college organise quiz contests , fests & also offers short term courses like MS office , MS- Excel & many other courses

Campus Life

The college always encourages students to get involved in different activities like there is a special area called sports arena for indoor sports and a turf for outdoor activities. The college also play an important role in contributing towards the society by organising health checkups, blood donation camps & many more

Admission

My first preference for college was St. Xavier's college Kolkata (SXC) but due to little bit less score in 12th boards I didn't get admission there. After that this college was in my mind , i took advices from some of my relatives who are alumni of this college and they gave me good advice. Getting admission in this college is not very tough

Faculty

For approx 30 students there is each faculty member . So the faculty-student ratio is quite good. The gate guards are very rude towards the students. The college conducts CIE before every semester to brush up the preparation of students

Placement Experience:

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

St. Xavier College Review

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

The besc life

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . I got rejected by goenka college of commerce as i could not get their cut off marks . THE FACTS OF BESC

I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
