Overall review of Lingaraj college belagavi

As they set their own syllabus because it's a autonomous college, the syllabus is good but it's better if they try to include more real time and practical concepts in the syllabus, psychology co curriculum is good from 4th to 6th sem , they conduct one internal every month and final sem exam at the end with medium difficulty

For us psychology students we have 2 internship, one they take us to psychiatry department of renowned hospital in belagavi In final year and in second year they take us to old age home , so totally we have 2 internships in psychology department.

They're are one or two placements option for BCom students and BA people barely have any placements option in any college so it's the same condition here, Final year students are eligible for placement process, 20-30 students get placements in year maximum

College fees varies around 12000 to 15000 for BA student, for SC/ST student there are scholarship from governments, college has scholarship which I'm not much aware of it, and we have to pay examinations fees which is1250 as per now for every sem

It has beautiful vast and vintage campus which is really beautiful and they conduct lot of club activities and events frequently and they conduct events like kalamanthan and kshitij fest for inter class and and they conduct events like sapience and anushtaan, they allow students to go many events conducted by other colleges as well, Library is huge and you get all kind of books , there are projectors in every classroom and there's a computer lab too and language lab, a lot of importance is given to sports they have all type of facilities for atheletes and sportsmans , there's ground and gym and indoor stadium as well

There's hostel facility available for both boys and girls, hostels are clean and really good and fees of hostel is for 3 bed sharing : 38000 and for two bed sharing: 45000 and for attached bathroom rooms : 50000 and they provide hot water 24×7 and hostel is very clean and neat and food given in mess is good and there's a fixed variety of menu, we have to pay 2600 mess fees for food every month, there are lot of PG available near and around our college

I chose this college because it's the only good college in belagavi for bachelor's of arts, with good reputation from long back and it's really good and decent college compared to other college, I chose this college because I did my PU education here so, I did not apply to any other colleges other than this, admission process is easy, you've to bring all the documents that they mention and if you have passed your 12th examination then you are eligible to admit here

There are many subject departments and every department has 2-5 teachers accordingly, There are experienced faculty as well young faculties and department faculty of geography, psychology and journalism mass communication and english are good, they conduct 3 internals for every sem and 1 final exams for every sem and marks are divided in 60 and 40 , 60 is for written exam and 40 is internal assessment
