- I like the infrastructure of my college campus .It is newly built and beautiful. Provides all basic amenities like hygienic food, clean drinking water
- I like the teaching staffs of my college. Professor here are really helpful and open for any meritorious discussion .As a hosteller they help us with personal problems
- As boys and girls hostel are close by we share a good bond with almost all our batchmates with a boy with a boy to girl ratio 3:2 . We engage ourselves in different co curricular activities apart from studies as well.
Dislikes
- As our college is a new open, the building is still under construction.
- Some department are short of professor which is a major issue
- We are the 1st batch of this college so we are deprived of seniors
Course Curriculum Overview
The course itself is a Nobel cause and the curriculum made me see through it. They teach us attitude,etichs and communication which is very important in MBBS. The course can be more effective if it can improve its teaching methods . Exam take place after every 3 month and the difficulty is quite high.
Internships Opportunities
The internship in our college is impressive with a safe and secure work place of hospital for a year. The stipend is around 30000 per month which is quite low .We need to work every day for hours ,some being a 36 hr duty
Fees and Financial Aid
As a 2nd year student, in my college the yearly fee structure is 6000. The admission fees was 8000. Here are no other added fee other than fooding. As I fall under general category and cannot enjoy the benifits of scholarship.
Campus Life
Our college is engaged in all kind of cultural program and festival. Freshers and feasts being the most awaited ones. Feasts are held around March . Library is well built, facilitating all books required for the students. The technology is high tech with project screens microphone and speakers in each lecture theater. An annual sports event is held every Jan with different kind of sports included. No clubbing is allowed in college
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are well arranged and well furnished providing us with a bed, almirah and a study table . Menu has a variety of dishes bt quality is a bit poor ,below expectations. Hotel fee per month is 180 and registration is quite easy with only neet marks required and your closeness of home to hostel needed.
Admission
I was very sure of entering a medical college so I never applied for any other college apart from one am in . For being in a medical college like me one need to sit and paas NEET exam after 12th boards .As a general candidate the cut off for NEET in my year was around 580 out of 720.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is quite sufficient 1:4. The faculty works in a systematic way making tem easy to access. I personally like pathology faculty as the professor are very understanding and microbiology faculty has been a hard to approch for me. There are total 3 semester per year with a final proff and passing rate is high with 4 5 failing students
