- The thing which is good in this college is increasing student's confidence by forcing them to involve in extra curricular activities
- College have good faculty too they help students in every matter in a friendly manner
- College take students to Mumbai too for sports and also provide adventure trips
Dislikes
- The thing that I dislike is it's campus it's soo small in size and half of the area is for school
- Some of the faculty members(who are new ) think that they are best so they don't listen to students view
- Canteen food suck and also not affordable.it need to be improved
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I think that it is easy and I can do other activities along with this like I can do part time job and learn something new like computer and other language and also can read about compitive exams The area which need to be improved is it's subject I don't know why I'm studying environment studies in commerce course so yes it have to be removed
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for: Fycom:?20000 Sybcom:?20330(advertising), 26000(computer) Tybcom:?18000 This fees structure was in 2022 but now it has been increased for fresher's. It start from ?22000 and so on. The college also provide scholership for catagory like ST/OBC/SC and for lower caste. There are several courses too like BMS (Bachelors for management studies) fees for this is 26000
Campus Life
So devkiba college also held events and festivals we celebrate janmashtami in month of August several team form up and do the ritual also if they win they will get a cash price Other festivals celebrated are Ganesh chaturthi, navratri, and etc There are also groups formed to arrange events and all like cultural and events group which help to manage the events held and sports group which organise various sports tournament
Admission
I applied for APJ college which is Government College and basically I'm from haryana I couldn't get into it as I don't have Gujarat domicile I choose this above college because I thought it will have more value because it is Government College And the admission process in devkiba college is quite easy you don't need to do more efforts or need to be tensed. Just have to fill prospectus and an online portal for Mumbai University. Also you don't need to give any entrence exams
Faculty
Factually to students ratio is 10:4(approx). The faculty is soo friendly and helpful. Any student can call or text them if in need and they will respond to you very fast . The most helpful and interesting faculty I find is my commerce teacher (maitry ma'am) she is soo sweet and helpful and friendly too , she is very polite with students also she have soo much experience at this age Second factualty I like most is my accounts sir (nibil Thomas sir) he is friendly too and also he is all rounder. He can teach many subjects. There are 7 exams and they are super easy you just have to learn privious year question paper and you can easily pass it . There are not many students who fail exams as compared to other colleges.
