Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is really a tough one but at the same time it's an interesting course to study..it feels so wonderful to know how this whole machine named "Human body" works..and how each and evry organ is necessary for our survival.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Not yet started so it's better not to say about it.. But here interns are paid approx 30000 rupees which is the current government rate and it keeps on increasing after every few years . So it's a good start rather than the private colleges hete that has very less to give.

Placement Experience

4

Obviously, employment in medical line is obviously a big job with a handsome salary..but to get that amount it takes immense amount of time to reach that calibre to get that high paying amount. No doubt it's a good course but the money making process is a bit competitive here

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year we have to pay approx Rs 6600 as college fees and Rs 144 as hostel fees per year. This is same for all students irrespective of reservation category. There are many scholarship programmes available like SVMCM, OASIS etc...which students can avail after fulfilling the criteria required. Since ours is a government college, so here minimal charges are required for any administrative purpose

Campus Life

4.5

There are various clubs/committees in our college like sports, cultural, IT, educational etc etc..recently we are also into setting up a new club for dance drama, and other cocurriculars that many students are interested into... There are good spots nearby to visit on holidays and weekends which have got immense scenic beauty to deliver that will refresh ur mind from daily hustles of medical life

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel is new and each room has a bed, a table , an almirah , a chair...for each student dwelling in a room. In boys hostel , 3 students are accomodated in a room so it's all fun here. Hostel life is really a life worth staying. U will get to know and come across various people from various sections of society under one roof and it has a lot to give u about the social life. The hostel canteen is really a good here and all food stuffs are healthy and the price is quite low.

Admission

I selected this college in my counselling because first of all I liked the environment and it's scenic beauty here..and secondly due to high cutoff of NEET ug exam I got this. Yes it's a bit backward when compared to old colleges but now it no longer feels like because it's the students capability to learn and chalk out things that matters

Faculty

4

Well there are minimum of 7faculties in each department. So for 100 students 7 faculty is enough. They are very approachable especially the biochemistry dept. And pathology dept. Teachers ..they are really really helpful.. The most hectic one was the anatomy dept. There are all total 9 sems in the whole tenure of 5.5 years. And there are very standard papers setting done which resembles the university papers

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.
