Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

This course is a professional degree course. We become doctors after completing MBBS. So, yes this course curriculum is relevant. The course curriculum also includes clinical postings and internship in the final year. In first year, the frequency of exam was high. Each subject exam is of 100 marks and timing is 3 hrs. Exams are difficult as syllabus is huge to cover.

Internships Opportunities

5

This course includes internship in the final year. The government provides 30 thousand rupees per month as of now for internship. The role in the internship is that of working as a doctor in a government hospital.

Fees and Financial Aid

I've paid 8000 rupees as admission fees per year. Hostel fees is 12 rs per month which is 144 rs per year. My category is unreserved. This is for MBBS course in government medical college. The admission fees is same for all categories.

Campus Life

4.5

My college overall provides a good opportunity for trying different things - dance, singing, recitation, sports, and participation in different campaigns. Many festivals are celebrated in our campus. Library provides a good number of books needed by the students.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facility is very good. The rooms are good. Each room provides bed, one table and one chair. There's also personal washroom in the room as of now. The meal quality is not that bad. Hostel fees per month is only 12 rupees.

Admission

I applied for other colleges too for studying BSc. And in all those colleges I got a confirmed admission on the lists. But as I wanted to do MBBS, so I didn't choose to go to other colleges. For MBBS, we've to clear the NEET exam. After clearing NEET exam and through counseling for medical colleges, I got allotted to my college as per my marks. Admission in my college ( in any government medical college) is through NEET marks. Cut off marks depend on the number of students appearing in the NEET exam and marks scored by them.

Faculty

4

The faculty is good in our college. The faculty to student relationship is also good. The faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:20. In 1st year, there were 4 exams (3 semesters and the final prof exam) The exams are not that difficult but the syllabus length is ! The course curriculum is relevant.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.
