Remarks
I didn't applied to any other college. I applied for this through online mode, filled application form, got accepted based on my class 12th percentage, paid the fees online for course and hostel. And at last started the classes.
Course Curriculum Overview
There were around 5-8 subjects in each semester and were almost the same offered in every engineering college in the country. Teaching methods were okay. Curriculum itself was not adequate to get you places in a good company
Placement Experience
Final semester students were eligible for placements. Lots of companies visit the campus but this year the placement was quite less. Average package was around ?5.5 lakhs and 70-80% students got placed somewhere.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid ?1.65 lakhs per year as academic fees and ?1 lakh as hostel fees. I availed scholarship of 25% based on my class 12th percentage. Fees for other courses are between ?80 thousand to ?2 lakhs per year.
Campus Life
The annual fest is named Rhythm and is good, a number of celebrities visit the campus and is a 3 day long fest. In classrooms projectors are there and other than that seminar halls and auditoriums are present.
Hostel Facilities
In hostel, individual rooms are provided with single bed, almirah, study table, chair, fan and light. Water facilities are there on each floor with lift available in hostels. Food in mess is not good.
Faculty
There were 50 to 60 students in a class and the faculty to student ratio is around 1 is to 50. Faculty is not much approchable. There were 2 mid sem exams and 1 end sem exam per semester and a total of 8 semisters in my course.
