I am btech cse student of first year. I think teaching are is quite good but we donte have to depend on them for aur academics. I think they should improve the area of the no of students they are admiting per year in their college. There should be a limit of admissions

Since i am the first year student therefore i dont know much about the internship opportunities but in my knowledge the college will provide good opportunity to join their internship in the field of both campus internship and off campus internship

Tution fee - 94000 per year University fee- 54200 per year University will provide 30% scholarship if you score above 70% in boards Statewise scholarship is also provided by the university Categorywise scholarship is also provided by the university

Campus Life

The campus of the parul university is vast. Its surronds the total area of the 150 acres. I think one of the best campus in the gujrat. They provide all facilities in the campus. There were so many clubs

Hostel Facilities

Since i am the hostel student. In my opinion choosing hostel over pg and flat is good decision. Hostel facilities are really good. Food of the mess is not bad its just average you can adjust with it. They provide variety of foods.

Hostel Fee: INR 104000 per year

Admission

Actually i don't apply anywhere before taking admission. Though my jee marks are not sufficient to take admission in the government college therefore i took admission in this college and the major reason is this the fee is too low in compared to other college

Faculty

The faculty of the engineering are good. They all are friendly with students and responsive. In engineering there is semester wise exam in each semester you will have mid sem and end sem. Since there is huge number of students studying here therefore many of them failed to qualify the exams

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

Placement Experience:

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement, too much companies are visited to our campus like , L&T , TATA, TCS many others around 150+ companies. Which is the highest placement in our college is that 20 lakhs and average package is that around 5 to 6 lakhs.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

i choose this course becasue CSE and Ai are currently high in demand, overall the collage is decent mainly becasue of the diverse crowd, students from almost every state study here, the collage events and fests are alo pretty good. previously i also tried applying in top collages like nirma but cutoff were too high for general catagory. the admission process is quite easy either you come through acpc, jee or managment, it doesnt matter, the fees is same....Read More
