Remarks

I didn't choose any other college.It was my only choice.I never wanted to go to other colleges The admission process of my college includes quite a few steps. They first need to give the NEET exam and then go through counseling and documents verification and then come to the appointed college according to marks.

The profession is a noble one. You can help physically or mentally ill people in the best way possible. The curriculum teaches us to treat every human being with empathy. There are quite a lot examinations in this curriculum which helps us improve our skills.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The couse fee is 50000 and it is not increasing.The yearly course fee is 9000. Every category includes the same ammount of course fee. Financial aids like oasis, aikya share are available for financially weak students.

Campus Life

There are quite a number of annual festivals going on. The freshers welcome party which happens mainly in August. The annual fest which usually occurs around September.There are lot of sports and extracurricular activities going on too.

The faculty of my college is great. The faculty to students ratio is a little low however.It needs a little improvement.The anatomy faculty was great. They tried to teach us in the easiest way possible.

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. Yes i will prefer Colleges present in Kolkata.In Kolkata medical college kolkata NRS medical college,SSKM medical college ,CNMC medical college they all are better for MBBS and post graduate (MD,MS,DNB). A student who took science stream and secured a minimum 60 percent in 12th board exam can attempt the entrance exam. The entrance exam is taken by NTA on yearly basis.Entrance exam is fully MCQ type including physics,chemistry, botany and zoology each subject have 50 questions.
