Regarding this course first I was very concern but after talking to seniors of this course why they opted I got my answer there is nothing bad thing about the course I choosed also my classes are just started so I cannot tell much about that

Internship for students are offered in about 5 semester in my PAINT TECHNOLOGY branch many known companies visited for internship like ASIANPAINTS NEROLAC etc. about 50-60 starting stipened is offered in this college

From about 7 semester students are eligible for placements many known companies like Amazon JSW MARUTI Suzuki has visited our campus highest package in this college is about 43lpa and average package is 8lpa overall 80-90 percent students get placements after getting degree my plan is for job

Fees and Financial Aid

My college year wise fees is 135000 and hostel fees is 63000 for 1 year all charges like tuition fees caution fees etc. are already included in 1 year complete fees my batchmate has also paid the same fees and currently I am not availing any scholarship but scholarships like UP scholarship are there for students

Many fests are happened is this college like annual fest or cultural fest named ABHUYDAY happened in month of May every year fest like PARICHAY done for freshers every year in month of January SPORT FEST named AAGAZ happend in December month every year there is central library in our college named TAGORE library has over 10000+ books sports in this college are easily accessible There is total 9 sub councils run in this college some named hobby sub councils print and media sub council etc.

Admission

I have not applied for any other college I directly applied for this counselling in HBTU admission can be taken through exams like CAT JEE MAINS and CUET etc. mostly prefered exam here is JEE MAINS and my overall admission experience is very good

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1:50 and faculties are very good and supportive and all are very experienced one my maths faculty named mr. Ashutosh pandey sir is very polite clear all doubts in our class there is no one faculty in disliked yet there are 4 mid sem and 2 end sem in one year currently I have not attempted any exam yet so I cannot tell about them much

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats.
