Entrance Preview
CET (COMMON ENTRANCE TEST). After giving this exam, you will be shortlisted and going through counselling you will get your college according to your rank in CET. Also there is a management quota by which any one can directly get the admission in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
In Techno India the courses and their faculty are quite standard. In BCA course at 3rd year you will get the electives. Normally the electives are mainly chosen by teachers.
Internships Opportunities
Till now I give exams for WIPRO, TCS and some other small companies. Generally they give you stipend approx 10k at beginning. The internship packages are good for the fresher's.WIPRO is offering at the beginning 11500 and in the next year they will give 13500. After 4 the year if you qualified successfully then you will get a job of yearly package about 5 lacs. Also they will provide a degree from BIT as a M.Tech. But truely this degree is not be eligible in other companies outside WIPRO.
Placement Experience
Job opportunities are average. Companies like WIPRO, TCS, CTS they all come to offer jobs to us. And their packages are approx 2lacs per annum.
College Events
In our college we celebrate the biggest technical fest in Kolkata. Also we have a dance group called enigma. And we also celebrate Fresher's day to cheer for the fresher's and fairwell for seniors are celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees:40000 per semester. Therefore there are some other fees like exam fees of 1000 per semester. Also there is a registration charge of 2000 rs with WBUT.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes there is a loan facility from the PNB bank.But for that you have to CET exam at the admission time. Also scholarship is available through few test by checking student eligibility.
Campus Life
As we are from BCA department, we don't get anything about robotics. But still, anything related to software can be done by us. In our college, there are held several workshops. In my campus life, we had enjoyed a lot and still doing. Got a wonderful college which will not only enhance your career by learning also makes secured by giving jobs to freshers.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are pretty good.There are separate accommodation for girls and boys.Also folding is available with accommodation.
Alumni/Alumna
Our seniors are really helpful to us. At the beginning there are some ragging was done, though I can say it was not any thing so disturbing.In our college only intro was taken by the seniors.
Exam Structure
Exam are counting by semesters.There are two semester in a year. Each semester contain 5 theory subjects and 2 lab subjects. If you are strong in lab classes then you will get benefit in theory.
