The positive points are many, all of which can't be listed. One great thing about the college is that it promotes the Organ and Full body donation. Our college gets the maximum body donations in the whole state. Moreover, we have transplanted 2 hearts.

Merit List

The curriculum is too big and one has to read regularly and constantly. One has to apply basics and some common sense and more skills to ease themselves with the course. No one can learn and retain everything, just Smart work can save you from stress.

Yes, the college does provide an internship after the duration, of course, is completed in the Sir Takhatsinhji Hospital, Bhavnagar affiliated to our college. They teach us a lot during the internship period and we get skilled in the field. The stipend is around 10,000 per month.

The placement and job opportunities are very vast. There are 19 departments and one can choose a department of his own choice and work towards his/her goal. Many of our alumni get selected as Professor in national institutes.

The college annual fest, Genesis is celebrated every year during March month. It consists of a Sports week followed by cultural events for 5 days. Moreover, there are various Painting competitions, Cycling events, Swachch Bharat campaign, etc in the College and Hospital campus.

The fee structure is quite feasible. It is very less compared to other colleges at the same level in other states. It is very affordable and totally worth the future a student would have after graduation.

There are many scholarships available to a different category of students. I have not availed any of the scholarship schemes so far. Many of my friends have got a scholarship for academics, food, etc. The scholarship process is very easy and the staff here helps a lot.

The extracurricular activities are being regularly organized and many students participate in them. They are given prizes for each individual activity and encourage the other students. The labs are well equipped and well maintained.

The hostel infrastructure is very good. There are in total 6 hostels for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. The facilities are good, we get 24×7 water supply, electricity, completely safe for every hostel inmate, especially girls' safety can be ensured.

The seniors and alumni are very helpful. They won't deny if you ask for any help from them. They are ready for help at any hour in every possible way they can. They behave as your siblings rather than being dominating.

The exam is taken on a yearly basis. There are in total 4 University exams at the end of each year. Moreover, there are 6 monthly internal exams and a preliminary exam just before the University exams.

I have given four-semester exams in 11th and 12th standard. Then I qualified GujCet which is an entrance exam for State Medical Colleges. A merit list was prepared for all the students who had opted B group in their 12th. Since my rank was high, I got admission in the college.

The faculties are mostly the alumni of the college itself, so they help a lot. Their way of teaching is unique and they would never deny or postpone any queries whatever we ask. They help in every field, whatever it may be. They are more friends than teachers.
