Truth about my college

I believe in positivity and when you look at the world in a positive manner there can be no negativity. Hence my college is great in every aspect with certain flaws which I have been getting used to from past years.

Entrance Exam

The course curriculum for my college is set by Visvesvaraya Technological University. To be honest they have been changing their schemes frequently quite lately and this has affected a lot of students.

A lot of companies come and visit the campus and students can also go to pool placement drives held all around the states. In our campus, a lot of students get placed in IT companies. many multinational companies also come to recruit freshers

There are a lot of events taking place in our college especially in the even semester. Cultural fest, inter-college fest, sports day, college day, traditional day, graduation day, Diwali celebration, etc and various other department activities take place.

The fee structure is feasible if we have taken admission through CET. otherwise, the management fees may be expensive compared to CET. The management fee is set by the college management who can vary the amount based on marks or influence

There are many banks providing a student loan. Taking about scholarship there are also many like backward class scholarship program, minority scholarship program and various other scholarship programs

A lot of extracurricular activities takes place on the campus. There are a lot of labs for each stream of engineering with well-equipped equipment. The college has a basketball court which no one uses. A football ground with no grass and a volleyball court newly constructed.

There are a boy and a girls hostel separately. The hostel is well equipped. One room has 3 students sharing with a toilet. The mess is there which serves vegetarian food. Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner is served here at an additional cost, mess fee.

Seniors visit us something as a way to recruit people into there own startups and this has made us extremely usefully. Seniors are friendly and they help each other .the alumni network is also strong.

The exam structure is divided into internal and external. The internal marks are given by the college where they conduct the test to evaluate. Then the external exam is common to the whole affiliated college having a common paper for all the colleges. A student has to get Max 28 in external to pass provided he has 12 average in internals.

After completing my 12 board exams. I wrote the CET exams for getting into a college through government allotted engineering seats. I wrote the exam selected shortlisted few colleges then after 3 rounds got selected here.

The faculty is well experienced. Our HODs have a lot of degrees and experience to boast of. There are younger faculty also who are good towards the student as the correlate the engineering students life.
